Abstract
Fats are adsorbed on to solid supports to give powdered products by passing the fat and the support through a mincer which may be heated, so that the ingredients become mixed, compressed and forced through a screen. Suitable solid supports are soluble, such as sugar, salt, lactose etc. or insoluble such as powdered vegetables, flour, dried yeasts, dried milk, etc. The products are useful as human or animal foods and medicines.
