Claims (3)

1. Elastiskt deformerbar pressmantel (7) hos en press för awattning av banformigt material (2), särskilt en awatt-ningspress för pappersmaskiner eller liknande, varvid mellan pressmanteln (7) och det banformiga materialet (2) löper en awattningsfilt (10) genom awattningspressen (1) och varvid pressmanteln (7) uppvisar steg pi sin utsida vilka likt cirkelringar ligger i företrädesvis ekvidistanta tvärsnitts-plan eller löper skruvlinjeformigt, och varvid det mellan flänsarna (11'') finns utit öppna räfflor (12''), känneteck-nad därav, att varje fläns (il"), i tvärsnitt sett, uppvisar en konkav ändyta (13).
2. Pressmantel enligt patentkravet l, kännataoknad därav, att räfflornas (12") bredd (b) uppg&r tili ca 0,7 - 1,2 mm.
