Abstract

The invention relates to a combustion vessel for the combustion of multi-fraction gases. The combustion vessel is divided by an intermediate plane 2 into two parts, one side of the upper part having an inlet opening for gas A and the intermediate plane 2 on the opposite side having an opening 8, and a combustion duct 4 starting from the lower part also passing through the upper part. A combustible gas flows in through the inlet opening A and a suitable quantity of secondary air is fed through an opening 7 alongside the former. Thereafter the gas flows past the combustion duct 4 in the upper part, at the same time being heated and continuing through the opening 8 in the intermediate plane to the lower part B, from whence it rises to the combustion duct 4, in which the gases burn out. In the lower part there is furthermore an inner shell 6, which guides the combustible gases through the opening 8 to the combustion duct 4 and also heats up the secondary air that is led through he opening 7. <IMAGE>
