Abstract

The invention concerns a combustion arrangement for solid fuel, which comprises a fuel compartment 1 provided with a cover, primary air nozzles 2, 3 that discharge into the lower part of the fuel compartment, a perforated grate 4 that forms the bottom of the fuel compartment 1 and a combustion chamber 5 situated beneath it to which the flames and combustion gases are fed through grate 4, as well as an ash hopper 6 situated in the bottom part of the combustion chamber. The characteristic of the invention is that the fuel compartment's 1 bottom part tapers downward essentially as a pyramid and that the secondary air nozzles 8 discharge into the gas outlet channel 9 of combustion chamber 5. <IMAGE>
