EN UNA ZONA DE INSPECCION, UN RAYO LASER RECORRE MEDIANTE UN BARRIDO VERTICAL UNA PARTE DE LA PARED LATERAL DEL ENVASE. CUALQUIER DEFECTO ES DETECTADO MEDIANTE LA UTILIZACION DE FOTODETECTORES A TRAVES DEL RAYO LASER DETERMINANDO LA POSICION DE LA LUZ QUE PASA A TRAVES DEL ENVASE Y COMPARANDO SU INTENSIDAD CONTRA UMBRALES PREESTABLECIDOS. EL NUMERO DE SEÑALES DE DEFECTO ES CONTADO Y AL IGUALAR UN VALOR ESTABLECIDO SE GENERA UNA SEÑAL DE RECHAZO PARA LA EXPULSION DEL ENVASE DEFECTUOSO. SI NO FUERA RECHAZADO, EL ENVASE PASA A TRAVES DE UN CONJUNTO GIRADOR QUE HACE GIRAR AL ENVASE EXACTAMENTE 90G; ENTONCES EL ENVASE CONTINUA HASTA UNA ZONA DE INSPECCION SIMILAR DONDE SE REPITE UN PROCESO DE EXPLORACION Y DETECCION CON RELACION A LAS PARTES NO INSPECCIONADAS ANTERIORMENTE.
