PARTIENDO DE UN MATERIAL CARBONOSO EL CUAL, EN FORMA PULVERULENTA, JUNTAMENTE CON UN AGENTE OXIDANTE Y OPCIONALMENTE TAMBIEN UN AGENTE FORMADOR DE ESCORIA, ES INTRODUCIDO DENTRO DE UNA CAMARA DE GASIFICACION, EN DONDE ES QUEMADO Y GASIFICADO PARCIALMENTE. LA RESULTANTE MEZCLA GASEOSA ES INTRODUCIDA LUEGO EN UNA CUBA QUE CONTIENE UN LECHO DE MATERIAL TROCEADO CARBONOSO SOLIDO. EL CONTENIDO TERMICO FISICO DE LA MEZCLA QUE SALE DE LA CAMARA DE GASIFICACION ES UTILIZADO EN EL LECHO DE COQUE PARA REDUCIR EL CONTENIDO DE DIOXIDO DE CARBONO Y/O DE AGUA EN EL GAS.
