METODO DE PREPARACION DE POLIPEPTIDOS DE FORMULA Y-R-NH2 EN LA QUE Y REPRESENTA EL RADICAL METIONINO O DE UNA PROTEINA BACTERIANA UNIDO A TRAVES DE METIONINA; Y R REPRESENTA UNA SECUENCIA DE PEPTIDO A BASE DE AMINOACIDOS CODIFICABLES GENETICAMENTE. COMPRENDE LA SINTESIS POR TECNOLOGIA GENETICA DE UN POLIPEPTIDO DE FORMULA Y-R-NH-CH2-COOH A TRAVES DE DOS FRAGMENTOS DE GEN QUE SON SINTETIZADOS QUIMICAMENTE A PARTIR DE ESLABONES MENORES DE UNA SOLA HELICE. AMBOS FRAGMENTOS SON UNIDOS ENZIMATICAMENTE E INCORPORADOS EN UN VECTOR APROPIADO DONDE SON AMPLIFICADOS. EL PEPTIDO AISLADO DIRECTAMENTE O COMO PROTEINA DE FUSION SE TRANSFORMA ENZIMATICAMENTE EN EL POLIPEPTIDO DESEADO. ESTOS POLIPEPTIDOS TIENEN APLICACIONES FARMACOLOGICAS POR SU CAPACIDAD PARA LIBERAR LA HORMONA DEL CRECIMIENTO.
