Abstract

UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA PREPARACION DE UNA COMPOSICION POLIMERICA A BASE DE ACRILAMIDA Y ACIDO METACRILICO. CONSISTE EN COPOLIMERIZAR UNA MEZCLA DE ACRILAMIDA Y SAL DE ACIDO METACRILICO EN UNA RELACION MOLAR DE ALMENOS 70:30 PERO NO MAYOR DE 95:5 EN PRESENCIA DE UN AGENTE DE ENTRECRUZAMIENTO EN CANTIDAD SUFICIENTE COMO PARA ASEGURAR QUE AL MENOS EL 30% DE LA COMPOSICION RESULTANTE ES SOLUBLE EN AGUA, MIENTRAS QUE LA COMPOSICION PROLIMERICA ES CAPAZ DE ABSORBER LIBREMENTE AL MENOS 15 VECES SU PROPIO PESO EN AGUA. EL AGENTE DE ENTRECRUZAMIENTO ES N,N -METILENBISACRILAMIDA Y/O 1,3,5-TRIACRILOILHEXAHIDRO-S-TIAZINA. LA POLIMERIZACION ESTA INDUCIDA POR FOTOINICIACION UV.
