Abstract

A one-piece electrical push-in type connector manufactured from a unitary cut of sheet metal of uniform thickness for general power supply currents. The connector comprises a plurality of push-in contact locations where electrical conductors may be pushed-in in a predetermined direction as particularly determined by a housing receiving the conductor, and safely contacted. Two opposing contact portions are provided at each push-in contact location, of which one contact portion is a spring tongue which, with a conductor being inserted, extends obliquely and abuts the conductor at an acute angle.
