Abstract
PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA OBTENCION DE CEMENTOS DE HIDRATO DE OXIDO DE MAGNESIO. EL CEMENTO A OBTENER TIENE COMO INGREDIENTES BASICOS OXIDO DE MAGNESIO Y CLORURO DE MAGNESIO. EL PROCEDIMIENTO CONSISTE EN PREPARAR UNA MEZCLA PREVIA A BASE DE AGUA, UNA PORCION PEQUEÑA DEL OXIDO DE MAGNESIO TOTAL REQUERIDO Y UN INHIBIDOR, AL OBJETO DE SUPRIMIR O RETRASAR LA REACCION DE ESA PARTE DE MGO CON EL CLORURO DE MAGNESIO HIDRATADO DURANTE LA REACCION LENNTA CON EL MGCL2. EL INHIBIDOR UTILIZADO ES ACIDO FOSFORICO, UNA SAL DE ACIDO FOSFORICO REACTIVA O UN POLISILICATO ESTABILIZADO CON LITIO. LA CANTIDAD DE AGUA EMPLEADA EN LA MEZCLA PREVIA ES SUSTANCIALMENTE TODA LA NECESARIA PARA FORMAR EL HIDRATO. EL PROCEDIMIENTO LOGRA OBTENER UN CEMENTO RESISTENTE AL AGUA, CARACTERISTICA QUE SE PUEDE MEJORAR POR TRATAMIENTO DE LA SUPERFICIE DEL CEMENTO CON UN ALCALI, YESO EN PARTICULAR.
