PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA OBTENCION DE UN OCTAPEPTIDO CICLICO, ASI COMO DE SUS COMPLEJOS Y SALES, DE FORMULA (I), EN LA QUE L-TRP, D-TRP O UN ANALOGO CON UN HALOGENO EN EL NUCLEO INDOLICO; AC ES HIDROGENO O ACILO; A ES L-PHE, D-PHE, L-PHG, CON EL ANILLO FENILICO SUSTITUIDO Y SIN SUSTITUIR O SATURADO; Y B ES UN RADICAL DE ACIDO AMINOCARBOXILICO. CONSISTE EN LA DISOLUCION DEL O DE LOS GRUPOS PROTECTORES DE UN COMPUESTO CICLICO ESTRUCTURALMENTE CORRESPONDIENTES AL OCTAPEPTIDO QUE SE QUIERE OBTENER, EN EL QUE AL MENOS UNO DE LOS GRUPOS AMINO, HIDROXILO Y/O CARBOXILO LLEVA UN GRUPO PROTECTOR ADECUADO. LA REACCION DE DISOCIACION SE LLEVA A CABO SIGUIENDO METODOS CONVENCIONALES QUE DEPENDEN DEL TIPO DE GRUPO A SEPARAR. A PARTIR DEL COMPUESTO OBTENIDO SE PUEDE OBTENER LA CORRESPONDIENTE SAL, ACIDO, BASE O COMPLEJO. ESTOS COMPUESTOS TIENEN APLICACIONES FARMACOLOGICAS POR SU PROPIEDADES DE INHIBIR LA SECRECION REGULADA POR LA HIPOFISIS DE LA HORMONA DEL CRECIMIENTO Y LA ACTIVIDAD SECRETORIA DEL PANCREASANDOCRINO.
