SE HACE REACCIONAR UN ALDEHIDO DE FORMULA (II) CON BROMURO DE 4-BROMOBUTILTRIFENIFOSFONIO EN PRESENCIA DE HIDRURO SODICO Y EN UNA MEZCLA DE TETRAHIDROFURANO Y DIMETISULFOXIDO. EL PRODUCTO OBTENIDO SE TRATA CON UNA AMINA DE FORMULA R''-NH2, EN LA QUE R'' ES UN RADICAL BENCILO O ALCOHILO DE 1 A 5 ATOMOS DE CARBONO, A LA TEMPERATURA DE 120 GC, Y A CONTINUACION CON ANHIDRIDO TRIFLUOROACETICO A TEMPERATURA AMBIENTE, OBTENIENDOSE UN PRODUCTO QUE SE TRATA CON N-BROMOSUCCINIMIDA EN ACIDO SULFURICO ACUOSO Y UNA DISOLUCION ACUOSA DE HIDROXIDO SODICO O POTASICO EN ATMOSFERA INERTE A REFLUJO.
