PROCEDIMIENTO DE DESOXIDACION DE ACERO. CONSTA DE LAS SIGUIENTES ETAPAS: 1. SANGRAR UNA CARGA DE ACERO FUNDIDO AL INTERIOR DE UN RECIPIENTE. 2. AÑADIR ALUMINIO, FERROMANGANESO Y FERROSILICIO PARA SATISFACER LA COMPOSICION REQUERIDA DE ACERO. LA CANTIDAD DE ALUMINIO AÑADIDA ES DE 0,27 A 2,95 KG. POR TONELADA DE ACERO. EL ALUMINIO SE AÑADE ANTES DE SANGRAR EL PRIMER TERCIO DE ACERO. EL FERROMANGANESO Y EL FERROSILICIO SE AÑADEN MIENTRAS SE SANGRAN LOS DOS TERCIOS FINALES DE ACERO. 3. AÑADIR UNA ESCORIA NO OXIDANTE SOBRE EL ACERO SANGRADO. 4. INYECTAR UN GAS INERTE A TRAVES DEL ACERO A UNA VELOCIDAD NO SUPERIOR A 0,28 M.CUBICOS/MINUTO DURANTE UN PERIODO DE 9 A 20 MINUTOS PARA PROPORCIONAR DE 0,01 A 0,03 M.CUBICOS/TONELADA DE ACERO.
