Abstract

Procedimiento para la purificación de mezclas que contienen una cicloalcanona con 5-12 átomos de carbono en el anillo y han sido obtenidas en la oxidación del correspondiente cicloalcano en fase líquida por medio de un gas que contiene oxígeno molecular, caracterizado porque la mezcla que contiene la cicloalcanona es sometida a una reacción de condensación aldólica en que está convertido por lo menos 80% de los aldehidos presentes, pero se deja saponificar como máximo 20% de los ésteres cicloalcohílicos derivados de ácidos carboxílicos con al menos 4 átomos de carbono por molécula.
