Abstract

Dispostivo dispuesto en un recipiente con un tubo de descarga y destinado a la depuración mecánica de agua residual, liberándola de materias sólidas con ayuda de un tambor de tamiz o de filtro giratorio, en el que sus superficies laterales están cubiertas en el más amplio grado posible y en el que se introduce agua residual en dirección axial a través de una tubería de alimentación, atravesando el agua residual la superficie de tamiz o de filtro, la cual retiene las materias sólidas que, acumuladas en la superficie del tamiz o del filtro, son proyectadas al interior de una tolva de recogida por medios de boquillas pulverizadoras dispuestas por encima de la línea de cúspide de la superficie envolvente, cuya tolva se extiende por debajo de las boquillas pulverizadoras y tiene la desembocadura de la misma unida con una tubería de descarga que forma al mismo tiempo, por lo menos en un lado, el eje del tambor de filtro, caracterizado porque en el interior del tambor de tamiz, preferiblemente enunas vigas axiales que unen unos puentes radiales y por medio de las cuales esta sujeta la envolvente de tamiz o de filtro están dispuestos unos cangilones que estan configurados de modo que, al girar el tambor de filtro recogen materias solidas y las vuelcan en la tolva de recogida cuando, al seguir girando, llegan a las proximidades de la cúspide.
