Abstract
El 1, 1-dioxido de ácido 6-aminopenicilánico, los ésteres del mismo fácilmente hidrolizables in vivo y las sales farmacéuticamente aceptables de estos compuestos son útiles para aumentar la eficacia de ciertos antibióticos de beta -lactama contra ciertas bacterias productos de beta-lactamasa. . Los derivados de 1,1-dióxido de ácido 6-aminopenicilánico protegidos por un grupo protector del carboxi convencional son útiles intermediarios para el 1,1-dioxido del ácido 6-aminopenicilánico y sus ésteres fácilmente hidrolizables in vivo.
