Abstract
Un procedimiento para la obtención de una composición de bacitracina de zinc con una estabilidad mejorada adecuada para empleo en piensos para animales que incluye precipitar bacitracina de zinc a partir de un caldo de fermentación, ajustar el pH del caldo de fermentación con álcali dentro del intervalo de 6,0 a 7,0, separar el agua para proporcionar una suspensión que contiene entre aproximadamente 10-35 preferiblemente 25 a 35% en peso de materia seca, añadir aproximadamente 50 a 100% en peso basado en la materia seca de la suspensión de un vehículo finamente dividido, en el que el 80% en peso de las partículas que forman el vehículo tienen una dimensión por debajo de 40 micras, mezclar la mezcla para dispersar uniformemente las partículas del vehículo, secar por pulverización dicha dispersión uniforme a una temperatura entre aproximadamente 300º a 450ºC, de modo que el agua se separe fácilmente para producir partículas sustancialmente esféricas y finamente divididas que contienen la bacitracina de zinc en contacto íntimo con el vehículo.
