Abstract

Procedimiento para la preparación de una nueva substancia antibiótica, de la fórmula *(Ver fórmula I)*, y sus sales aceptables en farmacia, caracterizado porque comprende cultivar Streptomyces sp. X-14547, del que la raza NRRL 8167 es un miembro, en una solución acuosa de carbohidrato conteniendo nutrientes nitrogenados y sales minerales, aislar a continuación el antibiótico del caldo de fermentación y, si se desea, convertir el producto obtenido en una sal aceptable en farmacia respectiva.
