Abstract
Un procedimiento de preparación de 6-ciclopropil-1,3-dihidro- 1-metil-5-fenil-2-oxo-2H-tieno {2,3-e} diazepina o de una sal de adición de ácido no tóxico, farmacéuticamente aceptable, de dicho compuesto, cuyo procedimiento se caracteriza por metilar la 6-ciclopropil-1,3-dihidro-5-fenil-2-oxo-2H-tieno {2,3-3} diazepina mediante; - reacción de metalación de esta última con hidruro sódico, etóxido sódico o metóxido sódico, en una mezcla de benceno-dimetilformamida, a la temperatura ambiente, - y después reacción del yoduro de metilo o del sulfato de metilo sobre el derivado de metalación obtenido en la etapa anterior, agitando a la temperatura ambiente, para formar el compuesto deseado que se separa y que eventualmente se transforma en una sal de adición de ácido.
