Abstract

Procedimiento para la fabricación de cuerpos absorbentes para fines higiénicos, constituidos por una capa absorbente y al menos en parte por una envoltura consolidada con material sintético y formada por fibras hidrófilas, que están unidas entre sí por partículas sólidas termoplásticas, particularmente fibras, caracterizado porque primero se cubre toda la superficie interior de un molde correspondiente al contorno del cuerpo absorbente con una capa de fibras de velo de envoltura hidrófilas y aglutinante termoplástico sólido, se llena seguidamente el molde con material absorbente y se calienta la totalidad de la carga de relleno al menos superficialmente hasta la temperatura de fraguado del aglutinante termoplástico.
