A method of obtaining a copy from an original document, comprising the steps of forming an electrostatic latent image on an image retention surface; developing said latent image by contacting said surface with a matting material comprising a mixture of matcher particles and matcher fixer particles comprising a matter fixer material disposed within a capsule body; breaking said matter fixing particles and releasing said matter fixing material to thereby fix said image on said surface and form a developed image.
