Abstract
Process for the preparation of new polyepoxide-polysiloxanes, characterized in that an adduct prepared based on a polyepoxide and a polycarboxylic acid or an acidic polyester, of the formula **(See formula)** in which Z means an n-valent radical of a polycarboxylic acid or an acidic polyester; Q stands for an epoxy-containing aliphatic, cycloaliphatic, heterocyclic or aromatic group, to which both oxygen atoms, on one side of the ester group and on the other side of the hydroxyl group, are attached in a neighboring position to each other; and n means 2 or 3, it is mixed, in more or less stoichiometric amounts, with a polysiloxane of formula IV **(See formula)** in which R means a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, R'1 and R''2, independently of one another, signify an alkyl, alkenyl, aralkyl, aryl, cycloalkyl, alkoxy or aryloxy group; and m means a number greater than 1, and the mixture is esterified or transesterified at a temperature of 50 to 200ºC.
