Abstract
Sistema de seguridad para reactores nucleares consistentes en un recipiente para el reactor y un núcleo de reactor dentro del mismo, caracterizado por comprender, por lo menos, un depósito de inundado del núcleo del reactor en comunicación selectiva con dicho núcleo, un líquido conteniendo un absorbedor de neutrones contenido en dicho tanque de inundado, para inundar el núcleo cuando se establece dicha comunicación de flujo, bombas para circular dicho líquido a través del núcleo del reactor, medios para proporcionar líquido adicional conteniendo el citado absorbedor de neutrones para su circulación a través del núcleo, medios de rociado conectados con el sistema del reactor, para el rociado de dicho sistema con el líquido de inundado, medios de almacenaje de hidróxido relacionados con los anteriores medios de rociado para conseguir un pII básico de aproximadamente 9.5. en el líquido de inundado, medios para el almacenaje de un absorbedor de yodo para su combinación con el citado líquido básico y su descarga a través de los medios de rociado, y medios para el almacenaje de un inhibidor de la corrosión del aluminio para su combinación con el líquido básico y el absorbedor de yodo y así impedir la corrosión del aluminio al rociar al sistema del reactor.
