Abstract
Process for obtaining an aqueous emulsion of its own luster with a content of metallic salts, characterized in that an emulsion of its own luster consisting, in the manner known per se, of a wax and/or dispersion emulsion, of a polymer and optionally still alkali-soluble resins, crosslinking agents and varnish equalizers, plasticizers, preservatives, colorants and solvents, are mixed with a dispersion of a complex-forming bi or trivalent metal salt and an alkanmonocarboxylic acid with 6 to 12 atoms of carbon, the weight ratio between the emulsion free of metallic salt and the dispersion of the metallic salt rising to 85:15 to 39.5: 0.5, and the solids content being the same percentage as the dispersions, while that the weight ratio between the metal salt and the non-ionic emulsifier in the metal salt dispersion amounts to 2: 1 to 1: 2.
