Abstract
A procedure for the preparation of a compound selected from the group consisting of a 2-imino-pyrrolidine of the formula: ** (See formula) ** where R1 is a member selected from the group consisting of lower alkyl and benzyl; R2 is a member selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and methyl; R3 is lower alkoxy and R4 is lower alkoxy and the non-toxic and therapeutically active acid addition salts thereof, provided that, when R1 is benzyl, R2 is methyl, the process of which is characterized by reacting a compound of formula ** (See formula) ** with a compound of formula ** (See formula) ** in a suitable solvent and, if desired, prepare an addition salt, with acid of the obtained product, non-toxic and therapeutically active.
