Abstract
Procedure for obtaining disazo compounds of formula: **(See formula)** in which the symbols X means a group whose formula is chosen from: R1-O-, -NH2 and R1-NH-, where R1 signifies hydrocarbon residues, optionally substituted which may contain heteroatoms; the symbols R2 are chosen from the same and different carboxylic acid moieties and A stands for a hydrocarbon moiety, if substituted, which may contain heteroatoms, the substituents B and D being able to carry further substitutions, with the exception of free carboxylic and sulfonic radicals, characterized why 1 mol of an amine of the formula is diazotized: **(See formula)** and 1 mole of an amine of formula **(See formula)** and coupled with 1 mole of a compound of the formula R2-CH2-CO-NH-A-NH-CO-CH2-R2 the tetracarboxylic acid formed is dried, transformed with a halogenating agent into the tetracarboxylic halide and this is condensed with a compound of the formula X - H (Machine-translation by Google Translate, not legally binding)
