A method for adhering a vulcanizable mixture, based on elastomeric material to metal, said zinc metal being constituted at least on the surface to be joined to the vulcanizable mixture, characterized in that it comprises the phases of adding to the mixture vulcanizable a cobalt salt of organic carboxylic acid in an amount comprised between 5 and 20% by weight with respect to the elastomeric material said vulcanizable mixture containing from 3.5 to 7 parts of sulfur; put such mixture on the zinc surface to which it is to adhere; and subjecting the complex thus obtained to vulcanization, said elastomeric material being constituted by a defined amorphous copolymer of low unsaturation content deriving from the copolymerization of ethylene with an alpha-olefin or at least one diene, having or not having conjugated double bonds, being said copolymer optionally of the dilated type to the oil.
