Abstract

A non-rotatable liquid atomizer comprises an inlet conduit 1 leading tangentially into one end of an arcuate generally gutter-shaped member 4 which extends from the end 3 of the conduit 1 to the free gutter end 8 through about 180 degrees and is provided with a lateral wall 7 having a spraying edge 7a and decreasing in height towards the end 8. The other lateral wall 6 may be of a uniform height in the horizontal direction, Fig. 1, or may be provided with a spraying edge similar to the edge 7a. To overcome frictional losses the member 4 is increased slightly towards the and provide a uniform spray the curvature of end 8.
