Abstract

The container is particularly intended for the preservation of food and beverages, blood, blood plasma, infusion solutions or substances of any kind which have to be used hot or cold. It comprises a heating or cooling cartridge (1), which uses the effect of the dissolution heat or cold and which is surrounded by the contents (2) of the container. The cartridge comprises a central embossing (3) of the bottom (4) of the container and at least a bulb (5) easy to brake. The bulb (5) and the remaining space (7) of the embossing (3) are filled each with a component of a heating or cooling mixture. A mixture of more than two components may also be used. All the mixture components may be arranged each in one bulb (5) easy to brake. The container may be surrounded by an insulating material. Preferably, the container is a box or a bottle, but it may also have different shapes or much larger size, for example the size of a barrel.
