Abstract

1414743 Open top display cabinets LINDE AG 21 Feb 1973 [22 Feb 1972] 8389/73 Heading F4H An open-top refrigerating goods storage unit includes a fixed goods container 2 and a removable goods container 3 spaced from the container 2 so that cold air passing over an evaporator 5 may also flow within the space 8 between the two said containers. A minor proportion of the cold air also passes across the unit from an outlet orifice 13 to an inlet orifice 14. When the container 3 is removed, baffles 21 direct all the air across the top of the unit (Fig. 2, not shown). The inclusion of a removable container 3 decreases the direct refrigerating ability of the unit and enables various food stuffs requiring differing cold temperatures to be stored in the unit without loss of moisture.
