Abstract
Procedimiento de regulación de una instalación de electromigración, en contracorriente, en baño de sales fundidas del tipo de aquellas en que el metal que tiende a depositarse o que se deposita en el cátodo es nuevamente disuelto, en estado de iones, en el baño electrolítico bajo la acción de una aportación continua apropiada a la naturaleza del baño y a la del metal, estando caracterizado este procedimiento porque se subordina de manera discontinua la corriente de electrolisis a la disolución del metal en el cátodo, por medio de un sistema constituido, por una parte, por un electrodo de referencia dispuesto en la proximidad del cátodo, por otra parte, por un aparato de medición sensible a la separación entre la diferencia de potencial real instantánea de la cadena voltaica cátodo/electrolito/electrodo de referencia y el valor normal de esta diferencia de potencia en ausencia de un depósito en el cátodo, y finalmente, por relés accionados según las indicaciones de este aparato queactúan de modo que sucesivamente ponen en marcha e interrumpen la electrolisis, provocando los períodos de interrupción de la corriente, gracias a la continuidad de la aportación anterior, la disolución del metal eventualmente depositado en el cátodo mientras que la nueva puesta en marcha de la electrolisis tiene lugar una vez que la diferencia de potencial de la cadena voltaica anterior recupera su valor normal.
