Abstract

System for making use of wind energy.The system comprises a windmill in which there is a vertical shaft (1) from which project a number of radial arms (2). Opposite each pair of arms, and mounted on the end of each arm (2) on a hinge (4), is a rectangular blade (3) mounted vertically in a plane perpendicular to the respective radial arm (2) to which it is hinged. The opposite blades (2) of a pair are, when at rest, oriented perpendicular to the direction of the wind, so that it causes respective pressure and hinging of this pair of blades (3), the angle of variation of the blades (3) being limited by a stop. Each of the blades (3) is associated with a recovery part that positions the said blade perpendicular to the arm to which it is hinged when the pressure on it ceases.
