Abstract

Un proyectil balístico autopropulsado adaptado para ser disparado desde un arma de fuego cuyo cañón tiene un ánima provista de estrías o ranuras helicoidales, y capaz de ser totalmente expulsado a través de dicho cañón sin dejar residuos en el arma de fuego, comprendiendo dicho proyectil un cuerpo de forma sustancialmente cilindro-ojival que tiene una cavidad interna para una carga propulsora, y medios detonadores, dispuestos en dicha cavidad, capaces de activar la carga propulsora, caracterizado por una pestaña o reborde periférico en el extremo posterior terminal del cuerpo y formada integralmente con el mismo, siendo el diámetro exterior máximo de dicho cuerpo igual o ligeramente menor que el diámetro de dicha ánima entre los macizos definidos por dichas estrías; y siendo el diámetro externo de dicho reborde periférico posterior, mayor que el diámetro del ánima entre dichos macizos, de manera que al ser dicho proyectil disparado y proyectado a través del ánima, dicho reborde periférico posterior es mordido y deformado por los macizos del ánima, y el cuerpo del proyectil se expande bajo la presión de disparo entrando en contacto con los macizos del ánima y causando así la rotación del proyectil a medida que éste se desplaza a través del ánima.
