Abstract

The air-curtain installation is provided for generating an air flow serving for screening rooms provided with an opening, in particular for generating an air curtain. It consists of a housing (1) to be mounted preferably at the edge of the opening to be screened, with an air suction opening (2) and an air outlet opening (3), the air outlet opening (3), which extends essentially over the entire housing length, being provided with at least one air deflection lamella (4) which runs in the longitudinal direction and by which the emerging air flow is guided adjustably in a plane which is essentially parallel to the opening. Furthermore, arranged in the interior of the housing (1) are a blower device (5) and, provided in the flow region of the air, a heating and/or cooling device (6), upstream of which, in the flow direction of the air, a filter device is connected. The filter device (7) is formed by a suction grating (9) which is arranged in the air suction opening (2) and the air passage openings (10) of which have a smaller clear width than those of the heating/cooling device (6), and, at the two ends of the air outlet opening (3), in each case at least one side lamella (13) is provided, which is aligned transversely to the air deflection lamella (4) and points with its free end (13.1) obliquely towards the edge of the wall opening. <IMAGE>
