Abstract
A stretching device for textile fibers comprising a pair of front stretching members, cord feeding means including a pair of rear feeding rollers, a horizontally adjustable lower motor rollers, an upper roller centered forward of said lower roller and in operative application. With it a support shaft for the upper roller means for adjusting the upper horizontal and vertical position means for adjusting the horizontal position of said upper roller relative to said forward stretching members in a plurality of positions along a curved path with which the end of the support shaft defines a curved path in a vertical plane according to its adjustment movement including said adjustment means a support mounted in a fixed position independent of the various adjustment positions of the horizontally adjustable lower roller and located below the tree of the upper roller in supporting relationship therewith having said support a surface arranged at an angle with the adjustment direction of the lower roller to support said upper roller shaft.
