CAJA PARA TRANSPORTE Y ALMACENAMIENTO DE PESCADO
CAMPO DE LA INVENCIÓN
La presente invención pertenece al sector de alimentación, concretamente a cajas para transporte y almacenamiento de pescado realizadas en poliestireno expandido de alta densidad.
ANTECEDENTES DE LA INVENCIÓN
El pescado fresco o descongelado es altamente perecedero y debe manipularse correctamente para preservar su calidad desde el momento del procesado y envasado hasta su llegada al consumidor.
Aunque la preservación de la calidad es el objetivo principal, hay que tener en cuenta muchos otros factores esenciales. Uno de esos factores es que las características del medio en el que se transporta (caja o envase) debe tener suficiente resistencia a los golpes y ser fácil de usar y de manejar para procesadores, transportadores, manipuladores, minoristas y consumidores.
En la actualidad, el uso del poliestireno expandido convencional (EPS) y el polietileno de alta densidad (HDPE) para cajas de transporte está mundialmente extendido, especialmente en el mercado de pescado y marisco, donde las cajas de este material se utilizan para transportar la mercancía desde su captura hasta los puntos de ventas.
No obstante, las cajas hechas con estos materiales presentan algunas desventajas ya que durante el transporte son susceptibles de sufrir golpes o impactos, que pueden derramar o dañar el contenido.
Además, algunas de estas cajas no son reutilizables por lo que se generan problemas en la gestión de dichas cajas cuando ya no son útiles, además del coste económico que supone.
Es por tanto el objetivo de la presente invención superar los problemas existentes en el estado del arte.
DESCRIPCIÓN DE LA INVENCIÓN
La presente invención proporciona una caja de transporte y almacenamiento de pescado presenta un conjunto de características mejoradas que las cajas conocidas en el estado del arte no poseen. La caja de la presente invención es encajable, apilable, apta para contacto alimentario, isotérmica, de peso reducido, reutilizable y ecológica. Todo ello se consigue gracias al material que la conforma.
En un primer aspecto, la presente invención proporciona una caja de transporte y almacenamiento de pescado que comprende una base y al menos cuatro paredes formando una única pieza y está caracterizada porque el material constitutivo de la caja es poliestireno expandido de alta densidad.
En un segundo aspecto, la densidad de la caja de la presente invención es de 80 Kg/m3.
Gracias al material en que está realizada, la caja de la presente invención presenta un excelente aislamiento térmico, absorción de energía, resistencia a múltiples impactos, resistencia al agua y a los químicos.
La caja de la presente invención presenta una gran ventaja medioambiental, ya que es completamente ecológica y el material con el que está fabricada es reciclable y puede ser fabricada con material reciclado.
Además, la caja es reutilizable. La caja puede someterse a túneles de lavado o tratamientos de higienización, para su utilización posterior.
Por otra parte, la caja de la presente invención tiene un buen comportamiento ante el roce o fricción. Cuando se produce el encaje o apilamiento de cajas, ya sea para transporte o almacenamiento, se produce una fricción entre cajas que hace que se deteriore el material del que están fabricadas. Sin embargo, en la caja de la presente invención se ha observado que los daños producidos por el roce o fricción de dicha caja con otras son mínimos.
La caja de la presente invención debe ser entendida como una caja de cualquier tamaño o medida y que puede transportar pescado fresco o congelado.
DESCRIPCIÓN DE MODOS DE REALIZACIÓN
El objeto de la presente invención es una caja de transporte y almacenamiento de pescado.
La caja de la presente invención comprende una base y al menos cuatro paredes que se encuentran unidas entre ellas y con la base formando una única pieza. Esta pieza, que en definitiva constituye la caja, está hecha de poliestireno expandido de alta densidad.
Una vez descrita de forma clara la invención, se hace constar que las realizaciones particulares anteriormente descritas son susceptibles de modificaciones de detalle siempre que no alteren el principio fundamental y la esencia de la invención.

REIVINDICACIONES
1. Caja para el transporte y almacenamiento de pescado que comprende una base y al menos cuatro paredes formando una única pieza, caracterizada porque el material constitutivo de la caja es poliestireno expandido de alta densidad.
2. Caja para el transporte y almacenamiento de pescado de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, donde la densidad de la caja es de 80 Kg/m3.
