Fig. 2 zeigt den Möbelantrieb 4 in einer perspektivischen Ansicht. Das Gehäuse 5 weist eine erste Gehäusewand 5a zur Anlage am Möbelkorpus 2 und eine zweite Gehäusewand 5b auf, wobei die erste Gehäusewand 5a und die zweite Gehäusewand 5b zumindest bereichsweise voneinander beabstandet sind. Durch erste und zweite Befestigungsmittel 16a und 16b, beispielsweise in Form von Schrauben, ist die erste Gehäusewand 5a am Möbelkorpus 2 zu befestigen, wobei die zweite Gehäusewand 5b über zumindest einen oder mehrere Stützkörper 21 a, 21 b (Fig. 3) an der ersten Gehäusewand 5a gehalten ist. Die Gehäusewände 5a, 5b können - abgesehen von spiegelbildlich ausgebildeten Komponenten - baugleich ausgeführt sein, sodass die hier vorgebrachten Ausführungen zur ersten Gehäusewand 5a jeweils auch für die zweite Gehäusewand 5b (und umgekehrt) gelten. Ein derartiger symmetrischer Aufbau des Möbelantriebes 4 hat den Vorteil, dass der Möbelantrieb 4 neben einer einfachen Herstellung auch wahlweise an einer linken oder an einer rechten Seitenwand eines Möbelkorpus 2 zu befestigen ist. Die Gehäusewände 5a, 5b weisen jeweils mehrere voneinander beabstandete Vorsprünge 15a-15h zur Anlage am Möbelkorpus 2 auf, sodass also ein Großteil der Gehäusewände 5a, 5b im Montagezustand des Möbelantriebes 4 vom Möbelkorpus 2 beabstandet ist. Erkennbar sind, vorzugsweise fensterförmige, Stützränder 17a und 17b, welche von den Gehäusewänden 5a, 5b vorstehen und welche in Montagelage jeweils die Befestigungsmittel 16a, 16b zumindest bereichsweise umgeben. Diese Stützränder 17a und 17b sind jeweils am Möbelkorpus 2 anlegbar, sodass das Gehäuse 5 im Montagezustand, vorzugsweise ausschließlich, über die Vorsprünge 15a-15h und über die Stützränder 17a, 17b mit dem Möbelkorpus 2 in Verbindung steht. In der gezeigten Figur sind die Befestigungsstellen 18 der Stützkörper 21 a, 21 b in einem, vorzugsweise im Wesentlichen gleichseitigen, Dreieck angeordnet, wobei der Möbelantrieb 4 durch die gezeigte Dreiecksabstützung zur Aufnahme von hohen Lasten geeignet ist.
