- Railway vehicle according to claim 3, wherein the plane of the lower floors (8, 22) is coincident with a plane passing through the bogie (16).
- Railway vehicle according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the upper floors (10, 24) of the carriages (2) and of the interconnection passage (4) extend substantially at the same height over their respective entire length, which height is greater than the height of the lower floors (8, 22).
- Railway vehicle according to any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein the lower level (18) of the interconnection passage comprises an interconnection corridor (54) which extends from one end of the interconnection passage (4) to the other so as to allow passengers to move from the lower level (12) of one carriage (2) to the lower level (12) of the other carriage (2), and at least one staircase entrance (52) which extends at one of the ends of the interconnection passage (4) opposite the staircase (44) so as to allow passengers to move from the lower level (12) of a carriage (2) to the upper level (20) of the interconnection passage (4).
- Railway vehicle according to any one of claims 1 to 6, wherein the interconnection passage (4) rests on the bogie (16), the carriages (2) being suspended from said interconnection passage (4).
- Railway vehicle according to any one of claims 1 to 7, wherein the bogie (16) comprises a chassis (26) resting on four wheels (32), a pair of wheels (32) extending on each side of the chassis (26), said chassis (26) supporting at least one motor (40) which is arranged on one side of the chassis (26) and is connected to at least one wheel (32) by transmission means, each wheel having an individual wheel shaft (34).
- Railway vehicle according to claim 8, wherein said chassis (26) of the bogie (16) comprises two longitudinal side-members (28) which are connected together by at least one cross-member having a lowered central portion which extends beneath the plane defined by the axis of the wheels (32).
