Definitions

  • the invention relates to a cladding panel for mounting in a soffit or a fall.
  • a cladding plate is provided, which corresponds exactly to the length and depth of the soffit or the lintel in their dimensions, so therefore used there and can be mounted via suitable bonding techniques such as adhesive mortar or the like in the soffit or the lintel. This means that expensive plaster work is no longer necessary.
  • the soffit plate thus includes, optionally with the interposition of a terminal block, usually made of plastic, directly on the window or door frame.
  • Out DE 40 13 000 A1 is a roller shutter box with a lid which is releasably secured on one side of the window area and on the other side via an angled plaster rail on the shutter box known.
  • the lid is held by a cover profile which covers the joint between the lid and the plaster rail and is secured to the plaster rail with a clamp or snap connection.
  • the cover profile has a top wall and a protruding therefrom clamping web, which engages in a receiving groove on the plaster rail.
  • the connection is secured in a form-fitting manner via ribs.
  • Out DE 103 48 413 A1 is an edge protection for a reveal plate known.
  • This edge protector is designed as a cross-sectionally substantially T-shaped rail.
  • the one leg, there the transverse leg, on the one hand forms a covering leg, with which the wall plaster located next to the soffit is overlapped.
  • On the other side of the transverse leg forms a protective leg, which engages over the free end edge portion of the reveal plate to which the edge protection is attached.
  • the second leg of the T-shaped rail, there the longitudinal leg serves to attach the edge protector to the reveal plate by engaging in a slot of the reveal plate.
  • the invention is therefore based on the problem to provide a cladding panel, on the one hand allows the disguise of the soffit or the fall, on the other hand, but also easy to assemble and allows a clean transition to the adjacent, already plastered wall.
  • a cladding panel of the type mentioned according to the invention to a narrow side of the plate open, substantially U-shaped male profile, which is located in the narrow side of the plate, as well as a cover provided with a male and a cover portion, the can be anchored with its insertion in the male profile and in the insertion with the cover still exposed narrow side of the plate and an adjacent wall section overlaps.
  • a two-part profile is used with particular advantage.
  • On the plate is arranged fixed a U-shaped male profile provided.
  • the cladding panel is mounted on the soffit or lintel side, for which purpose it is optionally cut to size and then mounted over suitable fastening means such as the ready-to-apply adhesive or a suitable foam or the like.
  • suitable fastening means such as the ready-to-apply adhesive or a suitable foam or the like.
  • the cover In the mounting position now covers the cover on the one hand, the still open surface of the narrow side of the plate, ie that it is completely below the cover and therefore is no longer visible.
  • the cover also extends to the side, it overlaps the given gap and extends several inches over the wall surface. On this basis, therefore, a simple and visually appealing transition is achieved without any cleaning work is required.
  • the single works are, in addition to the possibly necessary cutting the plate itself, the bonding of the same in the soffit or in the fall, and then only the insertion of the cover, which may need to be mitred at the corners to make it clean in an adjacent cover profile passes.
  • the male profile preferably has one or more latching sections extending in the profile longitudinal direction and the plug-in section has one or more corresponding latching sections extending in the longitudinal direction of the profile.
  • the cooperating plug-in parts are thus profiled in accordance with projections or ribs, which allow a latching together.
  • the male expediently on the outside a surface profiling, in particular extending in the profile longitudinal direction projections for anchoring in the plate.
  • the male profile is in a suitable groove, which is incorporated on the narrow side of the plate, used, for example, glued. This compound can be carried out particularly firmly by the surface profiling.
  • the insertion profile can end substantially flush on the surface of the narrow side. It is also conceivable, however, that it rests with one or two side flanges on the surface. According to the first embodiment, the male profile thus disappears flush with the surface in the plate, according to the second it is superficially with one or two side flanges, about which the insertion movement is also limited.
  • the cover portion may have an angled by an angle ⁇ 90 ° end portion which engages around the edge of the plate on the front plate side. That is, that the cover portion is drawn around the plate edge quasi, about which the edge is bordered on the one hand visually appealing, on the other hand, however, an edge protection is realized.
  • the cover portion may be tapered at the end of the end of the panel at a chamfer. Thereafter, the cover ends pointed ends tapering directly on the edge, so this does not surround, nevertheless, results in an attractive appearance.
  • a third alternative embodiment provides that the cover section is geometrically supplemented with a side flange of the insertion profile running to the edge. Thereafter, the covering leg closes on the side flange of the Einsteckprofils, which in turn runs to the edge, so this continues to the other side in the direction of the wall. Again, this results in a closed cover of the narrow side.
  • the cover can only rest on the masonry, so not be connected to it.
  • an expedient development of the invention provides for an adhesive applied to the inside of the cover section, by way of which the cover section can be adhesively bonded to the masonry surface.
  • the cover section is therefore also set masonry side and can no longer stand out from the wall surface.
  • the adhesive may be applied in the form of an adhesive application directly to the inner surface of the cover, this preferably covering to the side end, and be covered with a peelable protective strip such as silicone paper. It can be used any adhesive, as long as he receives a sufficient adhesive bond with the masonry material, so the local plaster.
  • a double-sided adhesive tape with a peelable protective strip may be provided on the inner surface of the cover portion.
  • the wall covering section can extend at least with a partial section resting on the wall section in the assembly position or completely at an angle ⁇ 90 ° or slightly bent relative to the longitudinal direction of the insertion section.
  • this embodiment of the invention ensures that at an angle ⁇ 90 ° or slightly curved extending portion or complete cover portion applies firmly in the mounting position against the wall section, it is a certain basic flexibility inherent, this solid application and molding to the wall, the in this area to the soffit or fall usually an angle of about 90 °, allows.
  • the cover section consists of a softer material than the plug-in section at least with an end-side partial section, if appropriate also completely.
  • the insertion section may be made of, for example, hard PVC, while the cover section may be formed of soft PVC. So he has a certain flexibility inherent in the house, which allows a good nestling against the wall.
  • the male profile and the cover made of different, especially different hard materials.
  • the male profile can be made of a hard material, such as hard PVC, while the cover is made of a softer softer material, if necessary, completely made of soft PVC.
  • both may be made of plastic, in particular PVC, metal, in particular aluminum, steel or stainless steel, or wood.
  • PVC polyvinyl styrene
  • metal in particular aluminum, steel or stainless steel
  • wood in particular wood.
  • choice of material also determines the appearance, in particular on the part of the covering profile.
  • the surface of the cover portion itself may be smooth, it may be structured, for example brushed, roughened, rippled, sanded or the like. It can also be chemically treated, especially if it is still to be painted over later to allow good adhesion of the paint, as it may be painted from the house.
  • the plate consists of a first layer of an insulating material and a second layer applied thereto from a covering material, in particular a plaster or filler.
  • the plate itself is therefore a sandwich panel, wherein as insulation material any insulating material, preferably a foam insulation such as polystyrene foam or polyurethane foam or the like is used.
  • a second layer of a covering material is applied, preferably a plaster or a filler layer.
  • This cover fabric forms the visible side of the prefabricated component. This can be left untreated if it is aesthetically pleasing enough. Of course, it can also be painted over if a wall paint is to be applied or over wallpapered.
  • other plastic or rigid foam boards may be used, as well as e.g. Plasterboard, metal or wood panels.
  • the male profile is expediently received in a groove introduced into the insulating material, since there the groove can be inserted particularly easily.
  • the cover portion extends around the wall opening around, so the opening is ultimately completely bordered on the cover, of course, can be achieved by appropriate design of its shape and any optics.
  • the top of the cover also designed as a decorative profile, so in cross-section, as known from possible door frame profiles and the like, corresponding corrugated or stepped form or the like to use, as he may also be designed as a hollow profile to save weight.
  • Fig. 1 shows a cladding panel 1 according to the invention in its mounting position on a masonry 2.
  • the masonry 2 has an opening, such as a window opening, which has a soffit 3 (or a fall). In this reveal 3 or the fall the cladding panel 1 via an adhesive 4, for example, an adhesive mortar or the like, glued.
  • the cladding panel 3 consists in the example shown of a first layer 5 of an insulating material 6, for example polystyrene or polyurethane or any other foamed plastic. It can also be around here a plasterboard, wood panel or similar act.
  • a second layer 7 is applied in the example shown from a plaster or filler 8. This forms the not further processed, if necessary, but only with a color bestichde outside of the cladding panel 1, which may also be visible if necessary. It is therefore a sandwich plate consisting of the two layers 5 and 7.
  • a groove 10 is inserted, which is milled into the layer 5 in the example shown.
  • a male insert 11 is inserted, which is firmly anchored in the groove 10, for example via an adhesive.
  • the reveal plate 1 optionally after cutting to adapt to the soffit or lintel size, mounted.
  • D. h. That the narrow side 9 is still exposed in the mounting position.
  • a gap remains visible 13.
  • a cover 14 mounted which in the released position in Fig. 1 is shown in dashed lines and shown in the extended position in the inserted position.
  • the male profile 14 has a male portion 15, with which it is inserted into the male profile 11, wherein it, as will be explained below, is firmly anchored therein.
  • it has a cover portion 16 which completely covers the surface of the narrow side 9 in the embodiment shown, but also engages over the gap 13 and a short distance the adjacent wall 2, which already has a plaster application 17 in the illustrated embodiment.
  • the cover section 16 preferably has, on its side facing the plaster application layer, an adhesive layer covered by a peelable protective strip, eg in the form of a direct application of adhesive, by means of which it is fixed on the surface of the plaster application and does not stand out from the plaster layer.
  • a peelable protective strip eg in the form of a direct application of adhesive
  • Fig. 2 shows in the form of an enlarged detail view of the manner of anchoring the insertion section 15 in the Einsteckprofil 11.
  • the male profile 11 has on its inner side in the profile longitudinal direction running a series of locking portions 19, which are executed here barb-like. These locking portions 19 are provided on both sides of the Einsteckprofil resource, but it would also be possible to provide these only on one side.
  • a series of locking portions 20 are formed on the insertion portion 15 of the cover 14, which, when the insertion portion 15 is inserted into the Einsteckprofil 11, step by step with ever deeper insertion on the locking portions 19 of the Einsteckprofils 11.
  • the cover 14 is pushed so far until it rests flat. In this position, an extremely firm, almost insoluble fixation of the cover 14 is given. If the locking portions 19 are provided only on one side, and the locking portions 20, which also extend in the longitudinal direction of the cover 14 may be provided only on one side.
  • Fig. 2 also shows rib-shaped projections 26 are provided on the entry profile 11 on the outside, which extend in the profile longitudinal direction, and serve the better anchoring of the entry profile 11 in the groove 27 via the adhesive.
  • Fig. 3 shows an enlarged detail view of a first embodiment of the male and cover profile. Shown in turn is the cladding panel 1 with its first layer 5 and its second layer 7, for example, again a Dämmstofflage and a Putzlage. In the groove, the male profile 11 is glued, which ends in the example shown almost flush with the surface in the region of the narrow side 9.
  • the cover 14 is shown here already plugged in to show the final connection, of course, in principle, the male profile 11 only is then set when the trim panel 1 is glued in the soffit or fall.
  • the cover 14 runs with its cover 16 to the edge 21 of the plate 1 pointed, so that there is a smooth transition at the edge 21. Also, the cover portion to the masonry end 18 runs out pointed, the tip 22 itself may be made of a softer material than the rest of the cover 14, such as soft PVC, while the cover 14 is otherwise made of rigid PVC. This allows a sealing lip-like, soft plant this end of the masonry.
  • the adhesive layer 29 is e.g. a direct-applied adhesive covered with a removable protective tape that peels off when stuck together.
  • the cover 16 can be glued to the plaster surface 17.
  • Fig. 4 shows an alternative embodiment, wherein the male profile 11 in turn flush with the narrow side 9 of the cladding panel 1, which in turn is designed as a sandwich panel with a first layer 5 and a second layer 7 ends.
  • the cover 14 has here at its cover 16 on an end edge 23, such that the cover 14, the edge 21 of the plate engages the front side.
  • the edge 21 is therefore not free.
  • the fold may have an angle ⁇ 90 °, so be slightly bent back, so that it is ensured that the bent end piece also firmly and flush on the front of the plate, the edge rests.
  • Fig. 5 shows finally another embodiment in which the male profile 11 rests with two side flanges 24, 25 at the top of the narrow side 9.
  • the male profile 11 rests with two side flanges 24, 25 at the top of the narrow side 9.
  • the Left side flange 24 shown extends over the free surface of the first layer 5, it is relatively narrow.
  • the side flange 25 shown on the right is stronger, it runs to the edge 21 of the second layer 7 and pointed out there.
  • the cover portion 16 runs at an angle ⁇ 90 ° to the longitudinal extension of the insertion portion 15 and the back 12 of the cladding panel 1. This results in that it runs slightly obliquely relative to the surface of the adjacent plastered masonry. Since the cover portion 16 preferably has a low flexibility, so it is therefore somewhat elastic, it is ensured by this slight acute angle that he also applies forcefully to the flat masonry, so it does not come to a gap. Also over this any wall irregularities can be compensated.
  • the male profile 11 as well as the cover 14 are preferably made of plastic.
  • the male profile 11 may be made of hard PVC, while the cover is made of soft PVC.
  • the cover can also be made only partially made of soft PVC, namely with its cover portion 16, while the insertion portion 15 is also made of rigid PVC for good locking in Einsteckprofil 11.
  • the profiles can also be made of other materials, such as metal, in particular aluminum or stainless steel or the like.
  • the surface of the cover portion 16 may be smooth, resulting in a completely unstructured transition to the wall surface. However, it can also be intentionally structured, for example brushed, ground, corrugated or the like, which may be appropriate for a later inking, if the wall is still to be painted, is appropriate, since the color then better adheres. For this purpose, a chemical surface treatment may be appropriate. But it is also conceivable to paint the top of the cover 16 from the house.
  • cover section 16 As an alternative to the extremely flat cover sections shown in the figures, which are designed only as thin, flexible cover legs, it is of course also conceivable to carry out the cover section 16 as a voluminous profile, that is to say the entire cover profile as a decorative profile strip. Conceivable are any cross-sectional shapes, such as wavy or stepped or the like. If a window or door reveal is surrounded on all sides with such strips, it is possible, after the cover sections of the strips continue, to have a circumferential, identical shape, which therefore forms a kind of frame.
  • all embodiments preferably have an adhesive layer 29 in the form of a direct application of adhesive or an applied adhesive or in the form of a glued-on double-sided adhesive tape to the masonry-facing inside of the cover section in order to be able to permanently adhere the cover section to the plaster surface (as exemplarily in the embodiment) to Fig. 3 shown).
  • the adhesive layer of the same type preferably extends as far as the free end of the cover section, so that a large-area adhesive bond is achieved between cover section and plaster surface.
  • the cladding panel 1 itself may consist of different materials. It may be a coated plastic foam board, as shown in the figures, for example, a covered with a covering plaster PS or PU foam sheet. Other plastic or foam boards can be used. It is also conceivable to use a plasterboard, which is preferably uncoated, as well as a metal or wood board.
  • the cover overlaps the gap between the plate and the masonry and also overlaps the adjacent plastered wall surface by several centimeters, so that there is a closed transition.
