Claims (14)
- A device for removing seals on annular sealing surfaces of pipes, in particular on end faces of liquid-conducting pipes (R), and for removing seal residue on pipes which are provided with a cap nut which cannot be turned back above the pipe end, characterized in that,
the device comprises a scraper blade support (2) having a working surface (3), which has at least one protruding scraper (21),
that the device comprises a drive member (11), which is rotationally rigidly coupled with the scraper blade support (2), in order to thereby remove the seal with the scraper blade (21) by means of rotation of the drive member (11) and
that the diameter of a retaining ring (22), the scraper blade support (2) and an optionally provided deflector ring (24) is smaller than the inner diameter of the cap nut. - The device according to claim 1, characterized in that a guide piece (23, 10) disposed on the side of the scraper blade support (2) opposite the drive member (11), which has been adjusted to the inner and outer diameter of the pipe (R) to be cleaned is provided, in order to guide the device securely in the axial direction (A-A) during rotation.
- The device according to claim 2, characterized in that the guide piece (23) is a cylindrical guide pin, the outer diameter of which corresponds to the inner diameter (d) of the pipe (R) to be cleaned.
- The device according to claim 2, characterized in that the guide piece is a circular cylindrical guide sleeve (10), the inner diameter (D) of which corresponds to the external diameter of the tube (R).
- The device according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the drive member (11) has a retaining ring (22) on its side facing the scraper blade support (2), on which the scraper blade support is detachably fastened, and which has a recess (7) in the region of each scraper blade (21) for the scraped-off seal material, in which a discharge opening (8, fig. 2) is disposed in the working region of each scraper blade (21).
- The device according to any one of claims 2 to 5, characterized in that the guide piece (23,10) is integrally formed on the drive member (11) and thus forms a single part therewith.
- The device according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the drive member (11) is designed as a functionally circular cylindrical handle and is provided with a plurality of longitudinal grooves (9) in order to improve the necessary grip during rotation.
- The device according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that each or every scraper blade (21) protrudes at an acute angle of 20 to 35 degrees from the working surface (3) of the scraper blade support (2).
- The device according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that in order to achieve a scraping action, each or every scraper blade (21) comprises a negative rake angle α.
- The device according to any one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the scraper blade support (2) is detachably fastened on the retaining ring (22), preferably screwed on.
- The device according to any one of claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the scraper blade support (2) comprises at least three scraper blades (21) distributed in a concentric circle.
- The device according to any one of claims 1 to 11, characterized in that a deflector ring (24) for the smooth removal of the resulting seal parts is disposed between the scraper blade support (2) and the retaining ring (22).
- The device according to claim 12, characterized in that the scraper blades (21) are detachably fastened on the scraper blade support (2), preferably screwed on.
- The device according to claim 12, characterized in that the scraper blades (21) are created in one piece with the scraper blade support (2).
