Abstract

Es handelt sich um eine Vorrichtung zum Verschließen von Kartondeckeln o.dgl.. Um eine Vorrichtung zu schaffen, mit der zum einen der Zeit- und Materialaufwand zum Verschließen eines Kartons minimiert wird, wobei gleichzeitig eine Schonung des Kartonmaterials erreicht wird, und zum anderen die Verschluß- und Öffnungsprozeduren bei Kartons aus Pappe vereinfacht werden, wobei ein stetiges Öffnen und Schließen eines Kartons gewährleistet ist, ist die Vorrichtung aus einem scheibenförmigen, vorzugsweise runden Oberteil (3) und einer von diesem über einen Verbindungssteg (4) beabstandeten, in Längsrichtung über das Oberteil (3) vorstehenden und in Querrichtung von dem Oberteil (3) rückspringenden Haltelasche (5) gebildet. In Gebrauchsstellung ragt der Verbindungssteg (4) durch den Spalt zwischen zwei Kartondeckeln, und zwischen dem Oberteil (3) und der Haltelasche (5) sind die Kartondeckel gehalten.

Description

  • Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Vorrichtung zum Verschließen von Kartondeckeln o.dgl..
  • Beim Öffnen eines verschlossenen Kartons aus Pappe, was in der Regel durch das Aufschneiden der Klebebänder entlang der Kartonkanten geschieht, stehen anschließend nach dem Schließen der beiden gegenüberliegenden oberen Kartondeckel und ohne Verschließen derselben durch ein Verschlußmittel, wie Klebeband, die Kartondeckel infolge der Eigenspannung des Pappmaterials dachförmig gegeneinander auf. Dies erschwert die allgemeine Handhabung des Kartons, gefährdet die darin aufbewahrten schutzwürdigen Güter und macht maschinelle Ein- oder Auslagerungsvorgänge unmöglich. Der vorübergehende oder dauerhafte Wiederverschluß des Kartons ist üblicherweise nur durch Verklebung, Verschnürung, Umreifung oder Heftung möglich, d.h. Techniken, die den Karton strapazieren und verhältnismäßig großen Aufwand an Zeit und Material beanspruchen.
  • Der Erfindung liegt daher die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Vorrichtung der angegebenen Gattung zu schaffen, mit der zum einen der Zeit- und Materialaufwand zum Verschließen eines Kartons minimiert wird, wobei gleichzeitig eine Schonung des Kartonmaterials erreicht wird, und zum anderen die Verschluß- und Öffnungsprozeduren bei Kartons aus Pappe vereinfacht werden, wobei ein stetiges Öffnen und Schließen eines Kartons gewährleistet ist.
  • Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß durch eine Vorrichtung mit den Kennzeichnungsmerkmalen des Patentanspruchs 1 gelöst.
  • Zweckmäßige Weiterbildungen der Erfindung sind in den Unteransprüchen gekennzeichnet.
  • Die Vorrichtung ermöglicht das beliebig häufige, sichere und schnelle Verschließen und Wiederöffnen handelsüblicher Kartons aus Pappe mittels eines einzigen Handgriffes, ohne daß das Pappmaterial oder dessen Oberfläche durch Klebebänder, Metallumreifungen, Verschnürungen usw. optisch verändert, mechanisch beschädigt oder sonstwie strapaziert und dadurch das Kartonhandling verschlechtert wird.
  • Ein weiterer Vorteil bei der Anwendung der stets wiederverwendbaren Vorrichtung im Vergleich zu herkömmlichen Verschlußmethoden besteht in der Minimierung des Zeit- und Materialaufwandes.
  • Weitere Vorteile der Erfindung ergeben sich aus der nachfolgenden Beschreibung anhand eines die Erfindung wiedergebenden und in der Zeichnung dargestellten Ausführungsbeispieles. Dabei zeigt

  • Die in den Figuren dargestellte Vorrichtung 1 zum Verschließen von Kartondeckeln 2 o.dgl. weist ein scheibenförmiges, vorzugsweise rundes Oberteil 3 auf, das über einen runden, vorzugsweise ovalen Verbindungssteg 4 von einer Haltelasche 5 beabstandet ist.
  • Die Haltelasche 5 steht in Längsrichtung über das Oberteil 3 vor und springt in Querrichtung von dem Oberteil 3 zurück. Die somit im wesentlichen rechteckig ausgebildete Haltelasche 5 ist an ihren Enden 6 vorzugsweise halbkreisförmig abgerundet. Ferner weist die Haltelasche 5 auf ihrer zum Oberteil 3 gerichteten Seite 7 eine umlaufende Schräge 8 auf. Die Abrundungen 9 und die Schräge 8 sorgen dafür, daß die Vorrichtung 1 sauber zwischen den Kartondeckeln 2 gedreht werden kann, worauf nachfolgend noch genauer eingegangen wird.
  • Zum Drehen der Vorrichtung 1 sind am äußeren Umgang des Oberteils 3 zwei sich gegenüberliegende Griffmulden 10 vorgesehen.
  • Nachfolgend wird nun die Anwendung der Vorrichtung 1 genauer beschrieben.
  • Um einen Karton 11 zu verschließen, wird die Vorrichtung 1 von oben mittig in den Spalt 12 zwischen den beiden oberen Kartondeckel 2 geführt. Sollten die Kartondeckel 2 nicht weit genug aufstehen und somit der Spalt 12 zu schmal sein, um die Vorrichtung 1 einzuführen, hebt der Anwender die Kartondeckel 2 mit der anderen Hand leicht an. Anschließend wird die Vorrichtung 1 in den Spalt 12 hinabgedrückt, bis die Kartondeckel 2 flach aufliegen. In dieser Position wird die Vorrichtung 1 an dem Oberteil 3 in beliebiger Richtung um 90° gedreht, wodurch die Kartondeckel 2 im Zwischenraum 13 von Oberteil 3 und Haltelasche 5 festgeklemmt werden. Der Karton 11 ist nun verschlossen. Der gesamte Ablauf dauert lediglich 1-2 Sekunden.
  • Da die Materialstarrheit der quer zum Spalt 12 stehenden Haltelasche 5 sowie des Oberteils 3 den Aufrichtimpuls der Kartondeckel 2 blockieren, ist ein Aufrichten der Kartondeckel 2 infolge ihrer Materialspannung nicht mehr möglich. Die Vorrichtung wiederum bleibt im Spalt 12 der Kartondeckel 2 festgeklemmt, so daß ein Verrutschen oder Verdrehen auch bei üblichem Handling des Kartons 11 (Fahren, Bewegen, Drehen, Kippen etc.) weitestgehend ausgeschlossen ist. Die Kartondeckel 2 werden in annähernd flacher Position festgehalten und verschließen den Karton 11 auf diese Weise dauerhaft und sicher.
  • Da die Bauweise der beschriebenen Vorrichtung 1 relativ flach ist, stört sie auch nicht ein Aufeinanderstapeln mehrerer Kartons, sofern deren Steifigkeit und vor allem auch das Gewicht des Inhalts derselben dies zuläßt.

Claims (4)

  1. Vorrichtung zum Verschließen von Kartondeckeln o.dgl., gekennzeichnet durch ein scheibenförmiges, vorzugsweise rundes Oberteil (3) und einer von diesem über einen Verbindungssteg (4) beabstandeten, in Längsrichtung über das Oberteil (3) vorstehenden und in Querrichtung von dem Oberteil (3) rückspringenden Haltelasche (5), wobei in Gebrauchsstellung der Verbindungssteg (4) durch den Spalt (12) zwischen zwei Kartondeckeln (2) ragt und zwischen dem Oberteil (3) und der Haltelasche (5) die Kartondeckel (2) gehalten sind.
  2. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die im wesentlichen rechteckige Haltelasche (5) an ihren beiden Enden (6) halbkreisförmig abgerundet ist (9).
  3. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Haltelasche (5) auf ihrer zum Oberteil (3) gerichteten Seite (7) eine umlaufende Schräge (8) aufweist.
  4. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß am äußeren Umfang des Oberteils (3) zwei sich gegenüberliegende Griffmulden (10) vorgesehen sind.
