Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Messerwalze nach dem Oberbegriff von Anspruch 1.The invention relates to a knife roller according to the preamble of claim 1.
Eine derartige Messerwalze ist aus DE 33 020 038 des gleichen Anmelders bekannt. Sie dient zum Ausschneiden von Fensteröffnungen in Rohlingen von Fensterbriefhüllen. Bei dieser Messerwalze wird ein Folienmesser nach der Art eines Druckklischees auf einer Stanzwalze aufgespannt und rein mechanisch gehalten. Das an seinen Enden abgekantete Folienmesser ist an seiner vorlaufenden Kante an einem Trägerteil eingehangen und an seinem nachlaufenden Ende mittels Halte- und Spannelementen geklemmt und gespannt. Diese Messer müssen immer eine bestimmte Länge zwischen ihren Befestigungselementen aufweisen und erfordern präzise ausgeführte Abkantungen. Zudem hat das Aufspannen bzw. das Wechseln eines Folienmessers einen erheblichen Zeitaufwand zur Folge.Such a knife roller is known from DE 33 020 038 of the same applicant. Das Folienmesser wird hierbei mit einem abgekanteten, vorderen Ende mit Hilfe einer Klemmleiste in einem Walzenschlitz festgelegt, während der restliche Teil des Folienmessers mittels Magnetkraft auf der Peripherie eines schalenförmig aufgebauten Messerzylinders gehalten ist. Die Fertigung von Walzenschlitz und Klemmleiste sowie die Abkantung des Folienmessers verlangen eine hohe Präzission und Arbeitsaufwand. In der EP 0 312 422 B1 ist eine rotierende Schneidvorrichtung offenbart, bei der ein Folienmesser zum Ausstanzen von Fensteröffnungen nur mittels Magnetkraft auf der Peripherie eines schalenartig aufgebauten Messerzylinders gehalten ist.
Zum Positionieren eines Folienmessers auf dem Messerzylinder wird die vorlaufende Kante des Folienmessers an einer leicht aus der Zylinderperipherie herausragenden Leiste angeschlagen und ausgerichtet. Diese Schneidvorrichtung erlaubt wohl eine schnelle Positionierung und Festlegung eines Folienmessers auf dem Messerzylinder, hat aber den Nachteil, daß sich das Folienmesser bei ungünstigen Schneidbedingungen auf dem Messerzylinder verschieben kann, im schlimmsten Fall sogar zerstört wird. So ist mit dieser Messerwalze nur ein Schneiden gegen eine mitlaufende Gegenwalze möglich, nicht aber ein Schneiden gegen eine stationäre Gegenleiste.To position a foil knife on the knife cylinder, the leading edge of the foil knife is struck and aligned on a protruding slightly from the cylinder periphery bar. Die mit der Erfindung enielten Vorteile sind insbesondere darin zu sehen, daß die Folienmesser schnell und komfortabel auf der Messerwalze zu wechseln und zu positionieren sind. Hierbei sind die Folienmesser durch das Eingreifen der Halte- und Positionierzapfen in die Schlitze der Basisplatte formschlüssig und durch magnetische Haltekräfte kraftschlüssig auf der Umfangsfläche der Messerwalze gehalten. Vorteilhaft ist auch, daß während dem Einfädeln der Halte- und Positionierzapfen in die Schlitze das Folienmesser achsparallel auf der Messerwalze verschiebbar ist. In Verbindung mit einer leicht asymmetrischen Anordnung der Halte- und Positionierzapfen auf einer Leiste ist eine variable achsparallele Positionierung des Folienmessers möglich. Die Messerwalze 2 umfaßt eine Trägerwelle 14, die mit Hilfe von Kugellagern 15 in Maschinengestellen 16,18 gelagert und mittels eines Zahnrades 17 antreibbar ist. Zwischen den Maschinengestellen 16,18 ist ein zylindrisches Walzenkörperteil 19 auf der Trägerwelle 14 drehfest gelagert, an dessen Umfang 20 die Saugöffnungen 11 angeordnet sind. Im Walzenkörperteil 19 sind im Abstand d von der Rotationsachse 2' der Messerwalze 2 Saugkanäle 21 achsparallel angeordnet, die mit den Saugöffnungen 11 in luftleitender Verbindung stehen. Stirnseitig am Walzenkörperteil 19 ist ein Saugluftsteuerventil 31 angeordnet, das mittels einer Distanz- und Zentrierbuchse 32 drehfest an der Gestellwand 18 gelagert ist. Das Saugluftsteuerventil 31 weist zwei separate, konzentrisch angeordnete Saugluftkanäle 39,40 auf, denen Frischluftkanäle 36,37 nachgeordnet sind. Die Saugluftkanäle 39,40 sind via einer Saugluftzuführung 38 mit einer nicht gezeigten Saugluftquelle verbunden. Vom Saugluftkanal 39 bzw. 40 aus sind die Saugluftkanäle 21 über den Ansaug- und Transportwinkelbereich a bzw. β mit Saugluft beaufschlagbar. Zum Saugluftsteuerventil 31 hin ist jedem Saugkanal 21 ein 3/3-Wegeventil 41 im Walzenkörperteil 19 zugeordnet. Mit einem 3/3-Wegeventil ist ein Saugkanal 21 absperrbar oder über die Durchgangsbohrung 42 bzw. 43 mit dem Saugluftsteuerkanal 39 bzw. 40 verbindbar. Die Saugluftsteuerung inklusive der 3/3-Wegeventile ist Gegenstand der parallelen deutschen Anmeldung 198 41 834.5 des gleichen Anmelders. Den Saugluftkanälen 39 bzs. 40 ist je ein Frischluftkanal 36 bzw 37 nachgeordnet, von wo aus ein Abbau des Unterdruckes in den Saugkanälen 21 und den Saugöffnungen 11 erfolgt.The
In den Fig. 4 und 5 ist die Anordnung und Befestigung eines Folienmessers 24 auf dem Walzenkörperteil 19 einer in einer Drehrichtung 23 umlaufenden Messerwalze 2 gezeigt. Ein Folienmesser 24 weist eine dünne Basisplatte 61 aus magnetisch permeablen Material mit einer Dicke d1 auf, sowie eine Vorder- und eine Hinterkante 62,63 und Seitenkanten 64,65. Auf der Basisplatte 61 ist mindestens eine einstückig ausgebildete scharfe Schneidkante 28 angeordnet, die eine bestimmte Schneidform bildet. Im Folienmesser 24, dessen Schneidkante 28 zum Ausschneiden einer Fensteröffnung 8' in einem Briefhüllenrohling 4 ausgebildet ist, sind Durchbrüche 75 angeordnet, die mit Saugbohrungen 11 in luftleitender Verbindung stehen. In Umlaufrichtung 23 der Messerwalze 2 gesehen, in einem an die vordere Kante 62 angrenzenden Bereich 67, sind Schlitze 68 in die Basisplatte 61 eingebracht. Die Schlitze 68 sind in einer Flucht angeordnet und weisen eine Breite b, eine Länge d5 und einen Abstand d6 untereinander auf. Auf der Leiste 27 weisen die Halte- und Positionierzapfen 66 zueinander gleiche Abstände d2 auf, zu den Ansatzflächen 73 hin jedoch unterschiedliche Endabstände d3 und d4. Dabei ist d4 um d2/2 größer als d3. In Bezug auf ihre Endabstände d3, d4 ist die Leiste 27 im Kanal 25 um 180° wendbar.
