Claims (9)

  1. Zuführ- und Transporteinheit für Tabak in einer Maschine zum Herstellen von Tabakprodukten, enthaltend wenigstens eine Transportrolle (27), in Umdrehung versetzt um eine entsprechende Längsachse (27a) und eine Anzahl von Stiften (28) aufweisend, die an einer umlaufenden Umdrehungsfläche (29) positioniert und radial von der Längsachse (27a) fort ausgerichtet sind, und zwar auf solche Weise, dass Tabak (9) aufgenommen und entlang einer vorgegebenen Bahn zu einer Einheit (25) hin gefördert werden kann, durch welche er zu wenigstens einem kontinuierlich Strom (26) geformt wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie mit wenigstens einer Abtastvorrichtung (30) versehen ist, bestimmt zum Prüfen des Vorhandenseins und/oder der Integrität der Stifte (28).
  2. Einheit nach Patentanspruch 1, bei welcher die Stifte (28) aus ferromagnetischem Material hergestellt sind und die wenigstens eine Abtastvorrichtung (30) wenigstens einen induktiven Fühler (31) enthält, in der Lage, eine Veränderung in dem Magnetfeld zu erfassen, das sich in dichter Nähe der Stifte (28) befindet.
  3. Einheit nach Patentanspruch 1 oder 2, bei welcher die Abtastvorrichtung (30) wenigstens eine Abtasteinheit (32) enthält, die eine Anzahl von Fühlern (31) aufweist, aufgereiht in dichter Anordnung einer neben dem anderen und den Stiften (28) von der wenigstens einen Rolle (27) zugewandt.
  4. Einheit nach Patentanspruch 3, bei welcher die wenigstens eine Abtasteinheit (32) eine feststehende Position belegt, wobei die Stifte (28) während der Umdrehung der wenigstens einen Rolle (27) unter den Fühlern (31) durchlaufen.
  5. Einheit nach Patentanspruch 3, bei welcher die wenigstens eine Abtasteinheit (32) sich teilweise um die wenigstens eine Rolle (27) erstreckt.
  6. Einheit nach Patentanspruch 3 oder 4, bei welcher die Stifte (28) in einer Anzahl von einzelnen Reihen (28a) angeordnet sind, die sich jede um den Umfang der Rolle (27) erstrecken und eine neben der anderen entlang der Achse (27a) derselben Rolle geordnet sind, und jeder Fühler (31) der wenigstens einen Abtasteinheit (32) über einer der Reihen (28a) von Stiften (28) positioniert ist.
  7. Einheit nach den Patentansprüchen von 3 bis 6, bei welcher die wenigstens eine Abtasteinheit (32) eine Fläche (33) aufweist, die auf die Stifte (28) gerichtet und mit einer Anzahl von Rillen (34) versehen ist, wobei jede umlaufende Reihe (28a) von Stiften (28) während der Umdrehung im Inneren einer jeweiligen Rille (34) läuft.
  8. Einheit nach den Patentansprüchen von 3 bis 7, enthaltend eine Anzahl von Abtasteinheiten (32), angeordnet eine neben der anderen entlang der Längenausdehnung von der wenigstens einen Rolle (27).
  9. Einheit nach Patentanspruch 8, bei welcher die einzelnen Einheiten der Anzahl von Abtasteinheiten (32) entlang der umlaufenden Ausdehnung von der wenigstens einen Rolle (27) versetzt angeordnet sind.
