Abstract

The letter tray system comprises at least two letter trays dimensioned so that one of them in inverted position is slidable into the other.

Description

The invention relates to a letter tray system, comprising at least two baskets, each having a bottom plate and two of the bottom plate upstanding parallel side walls and a rear wall, wherein a plurality of baskets are stacked in a storage position one above the other.

With such baskets with a generally rectangular bottom plate basically arbitrarily high stack for sorting different letters and documents can be formed. They are generally made as plastic injection molded parts.

Hierdurch fallen auch im Verhältnis zu den geringen Herstellungskosten erhebliche Transportkosten an.Since the baskets have a low empty weight, they can be transported stacked in larger quantities. The transport capacity is generally not limited by the weight, but by the considerable volume of the letter stack. As a result, considerable transport costs are incurred in relation to the low production costs.

By the DE 85 13 661 U a stackable basket is known, which consists of a bottom, a rear wall, two side walls and one of the rear wall opposite the front opening. The front opening is used to access the contents of the letterbox. So the contents of a letterbox can not inadvertently slip out of the basket, the bottom on both sides of the front engagement recess on its leading edge rising sloping surfaces. In the known basket is provided to provide both side walls in the region adjacent to the rear wall portion of its upper edge with a recess which has at least on the side of the rear wall has a depth which is greater than or equal to the height of the front ends of the inclined surfaces from the bottom. The recess has a length which is greater than or equal to the distance of the leading edge from the line of intersection of the bottom with the front inclined surfaces. By this training, it should be possible to put two baskets each other by one of the two baskets is turned around its transverse to the two side walls extending central axis by 180 degrees, so that the lower sides of both floors facing outward and one of the front inclined surfaces of a letter basket in one of the recesses of the side walls of the other letter box finds place. In each case two side walls of the baskets are so directly next to each other, that in each case a side wall of a letter basket inside and its other outer wall is outside the other letter basket. When stacked baskets after the DE 85 13 661 U lie two side walls of the baskets so directly next to each other, that in each case a side wall of a basket inside and his other outer wall is outside the other letter basket.

The invention has for its object to provide over existing basket systems improvements and in particular to allow a simple, space-saving and cost-effective transport and a simple, space-saving and cost-effective storage.

This object is achieved by a letter tray system according to claim 1. The dependent claims describe preferred developments.

The basket system according to the invention thus has at least two different baskets, of which the first basket has a greater distance between the side walls than the second basket. In this way, in addition to the storage position known per se, a transport and storage position is made possible in which the second baskets in the reverse position - d. H. with top plate pointing upwards and side walls and back wall protruding downwards - to be inserted into the first baskets. The letter basket combination formed from a first and a second basket thus takes in the transport position or storage position only slightly more than half of a stacked in the conventional storage position stack of two baskets to complete.

Preferably, in this case, the first basket with the larger side wall distance is taken as the lower basket, in which the upper basket is inserted; the side wall of the inserted second basket with a smaller sidewall distance is thus in this embodiment within the first basket; In principle, however, a reverse arrangement is also possible.

According to the invention in this case in the transport position or storage position a safe investment of the two baskets on each other without play or rattling achieved by advantageously abut the side walls and the rear wall of the first basket on the top of the collar of the inserted second basket; Alternatively or additionally, an attachment of the downwardly projecting side walls may be present on the bottom plate of the first letter basket.

The difference in the distances between the side walls of the two baskets can be kept very small, so that the side walls of the two baskets in the transport / storage position are adjacent to each other. As a result, on the one hand a solid, slipping and rattling free recording in the transport / storage position allows and on the other hand, the functionality of the baskets is not affected.

The stackability of the same or different baskets in any order one above the other is not affected in the conventional storage position by the small differences in the distances of the side walls, so that they are equally suitable for receiving letters and other documents. The user does not notice the difference between the baskets in individual positions or in the filing position. The baskets can be easily transferred from the transport / storage position by pulling and turning the top basket in the storage position.

The invention will be explained below with reference to the accompanying drawings to an embodiment.

First and second baskets 1, 2 each corresponding to the FIGS. 1 to 3 a substantially rectangular bottom plate 4, 4.1 and 4.2 with two parallel, extending from the bottom plate vertically side walls 5, 5.1 and 5.2 and connecting them rear wall 6, 6.1 and 6.2. On the bottom plate a circumferential along the side walls and the rear wall collar 7, 7.1, 7.2 is formed, which is open in a known manner down to receive side walls 5, 5.1, 5.2 and a rear wall 6, 6.1, 6.2 of a lower letter basket. The baskets 1, 2 can thus according to in known manner Fig. 7 stacked on each other by z. B. the collar 7.1, 7.2 of an upper letter tray 1, 2 respectively the side walls 5.1, 5.2 and the rear wall 6.1, 6.2 of a basket arranged underneath 1, 2 record.

According to the invention, the side walls 5.2 of the second letter tray 2 relative to the side walls 5.1 of the first letter tray 1 each to the strength of the side wall to z. B. offset 1.5 mm inwards. Accordingly, the back wall 6.2 of the second letter tray 2 relative to the rear wall 6.1 of the first letter tray 1 by twice the wall thickness to z. B. 3 mm narrower. The bottom plates 4.1 and 4.2 of both baskets 1 and 2 are the same size, so that the external distance and the inside width between the two longitudinal side parts of both baskets is the same. This is a space-saving stacking in the transport / storage position after the Fig. 5, 6 possible, according to what Fig. 4 a second basket 2 is pushed or inserted in the reverse position in a first letter tray 1. The side walls 5.2 of the upper, second letter tray 2 with a smaller distance slide in this case on the side walls 5.1 of the lower first basket 1, so that the second basket 2 according to Fig. 4.1 . 5 and 6 is introduced or used in the first basket 1. It is also a reverse transport / storage stacking of the two baskets 1 and 2 possible by according to Figure 4.2 the letter tray 1 in inverted position over the letter basket 2, the side walls 5.2 are offset relative to the side walls 5.1 of the first letter tray 1 inside, is slipped.

In the storage position of several baskets 1, 2, in which they are stacked in the same position stacked, is still a positive detection of the side walls 5.1, 5.2 and the rear wall 6.1, 6.2 each letter tray 1, 2 by the corresponding collar 7.1, 7.2 of an above lying letterbox 1, 2 allows comparisons Fig. 7 ,

The in the FIGS. 5 and 6 shown transport / storage position can be achieved, for example, when the insertion of the upper edges of the side walls 5.1 and the rear wall 6.1 of the lower first letter tray 1 against the collar 7.2 of the upper letter tray 2; Alternatively, an investment of the edges of the side walls is 5.2 and rear wall 6.2 on the bottom plate 4 of the lower basket 1 possible.

The in the FIGS. 5 and 6 shown transport / storage position and also from the Figure 4.2 achievable transport / storage position enable compared to the storage position almost a halving of the required volume. Thus, in particular for transport and storage, a compact stacking can be obtained.

The baskets 1, 2 have obliquely upward and forwardly extending front regions 8, in each of which a handle recess 9 is formed. By advantageously according to the invention, the letter trays 1, 2 are formed at least substantially mirror-symmetrically with respect to their longitudinal axis, as shown in FIG FIGS. 5 and 6 the handle recesses 9 one above the other. However, correspondingly different embodiments are also possible.
