Description

The invention relates to a glass wall of at least two multiple glass panes with the features according to the preamble of claim 1.

Such glass walls, which are designed both as fixed glazing and doors, are known in various designs. They usually consist of vertical posts and horizontal bars existing frames that accommodate the glass panes, even multiple glass panes. For the mounting of the discs in the frame, there are different versions, which are dependent on the type of frame and the purpose.

From the DE-A1-35 20 973 For example, a glass wall in the form of an insulating glass pane is known, which is formed from at least two multi-pane glass. The multiple glass panes in turn consist of two spaced parallel glass plates, the glass sheets are held by a stabilizing strip or a spacer in the form of a closure body at a distance to each other. From the BE-A3-1 012 820 Furthermore, a modular construction system based on plastic elements on the one hand and flat glass made of flat glass elements on the other hand is known. A glass wall erected with this construction system consists of at least two multi-pane glass panes, each of which is formed from at least two glass plates spaced parallel to one another. The glass plates are held by vertical and horizontal plastic profiles.

The invention has for its object to provide a glass wall of the type described above, which is preferably designed as a room-high partition and their multiple glass panes holding support structure visually in the background, so that essentially the glass panes are visible.

To solve this problem, a glass wall with the features of claim 1 is proposed with the invention.

The glass wall consists of horizontally extending holding profiles, preferably made of wood, and of at least two multi-pane glass panes whose single glass panes abut each other to form a small gap. In this joint, a vertical blade of glass is arranged as a spacer between the single glass panes, which is held sealed by a seal, preferably transparent silicone. Accordingly, the glass wall is optically substantially made of glass and allows optically an almost unimpeded transparency.

The effect of the glass wall is inventively improved by the fact that the two outer single glass panes are arranged flush with the holding profiles. There is thus no offset between the retaining profiles and the surfaces of the outer glass panes, whereby the appearance of the glass wall is increased.

According to a further feature of the invention, the two outer single glass panes of the multiple glass panes are laterally fixed to the holding profile by at least one retaining strip. According to the invention, the retaining strip can either be integrally formed on the retaining profile or attached to the retaining profile as a separate component. If, according to the invention, an anodized aluminum profile is used as the retaining strip, the retaining strips optically fade into the background, since they are only perceived as a reflection.

In order to create a condensation-tight construction, it is further proposed with the invention to provide the retaining profile with at least one hollow profile, which is connected to the space between the single glass panes in Compound standing cavity contains desiccant. According to the invention, a galvanized steel profile is used for the hollow profile containing the desiccant, so that corrosion of this profile is excluded.

In a preferred embodiment of the glass wall according to the invention, each outer single glass pane is laterally fixed by a retaining strip made of anodised aluminum profile, each covering a hollow profile containing the desiccant with a gap for the connection of the cavity with the space between the single glass panes. This results in a glass wall construction whose lying between the single glass panes part of the holding profiles is designed structurally simple with a favorable appearance, which according to the invention can be improved by the fact that between the two retaining strips, a cover strip, preferably made of anodized aluminum, is arranged.

In order to form the glass wall according to the invention as a fire protection wall, it is proposed according to a further feature of the invention to arrange a fire-resistant glass pane at a distance between the outer single glass panes. The glass wall according to the invention can thus be formed not only as a room partition without fire protection requirement, but also for use as fire-resistant glazing despite their good appearance.

The arrangement of the fire-resistant glass pane between the single glass panes results in a firing, which takes place from one side, a significantly better fire protection with a controlled stress relief, since the single glass pane first causes a thermal separation of the fire glass. In addition, with the triple glazing and the two spaces between the panes, the soundproofing effect and also the burglary resistance are increased.

Even in the training as fire-resistant glazing the fire glass panes are held at the vertical joints at a distance from the outer single glass panes by a glass sword, which is sealed by a seal against both the adjacent fire glass and glass bars against the. At the retaining profiles, the fire protection glass pane is preferably held by inserted into grooves of the respective holding profile glass retaining strips with the interposition of a seal. The seals are also in this case preferably made of transparent silicone.

The glass wall according to the invention can not only be designed as fixed glazing, but also be provided with doors. According to the invention it is therefore proposed to replace at least one of the multiple glass panes over at least a part of the height extending door which is pivotally mounted in a two vertical and a horizontal frame part frame and has a sash whose wing frame parts as well as the frame parts of Blendrahmens are formed according to the horizontal holding profiles of the glass wall.

Such a design of the doors and their frame blends into their design uniform in the technical design of the glass wall, the components for the door construction correspond to the components for the glass wall construction in the fixed glazing. Overall, a construction of the glass wall according to the invention results, which makes do with narrow frame parts for the holding profiles or the door construction and causes a novel overall impression, which is essentially determined by glass surfaces, even if the glass wall is designed as fire-resistant glazing.

The two embodiments according to the FIGS. 1 to 7 or FIGS. 8 to 14 show a ceiling-high glass wall which is designed as a room dividing wall and is provided with normal glazing in the first exemplary embodiment and with fire-resistant glazing in the second exemplary embodiment. In both cases, a door is built into the glass wall. However, the training as fixed glazing without doors can also be found in the drawing.

Both in the FIGS. 1 and 8th illustrated embodiments, fixed to the floor or ceiling retaining profiles 1 are used to hold the existing multiple multi-pane glass 2 glass elements. Each multi-pane glass 2 consists in each case of at least two parallel spaced arranged single glass panes 2a and 2b, which are held by the holding profile 1.

In the first embodiment are according to Fig. 3 the retaining profiles 1, which are preferably made of wood but can also be made of plastic or metal, provided with retaining strips 5, which are fastened in both embodiments by screws 5a on the retaining section 1. The attachment is such that the retaining strips 5 such lateral contact the single glass sheets 2a and 2b revealed that the outer surface of the single glass sheets 2a and 2b is flush with the outer surface of the holding profiles 1, in particular the Fig. 3 shows. As spacers between the single glass panes 2a and 2b, vertical glass swords 3 are used (see Fig. 7 ). The attachment of the single glass panes 2a and 2b is carried out by gluing with sealing material. This material, preferably transparent silicone, results in a seal 4, which results in an elastic and sealed support both relative to the respective adjacent individual glass pane 2a or 2b and the glass blade 3, as also from Fig. 7 evident.

The FIGS. 3 and 7 is also apparent that hollow sections 6 are embedded in the retaining profile 1, the cavity contains a desiccant. The interior of the hollow profile 6, which is essentially covered by the retaining strips 5, is connected via a gap 8 with the gap 7 between the single glass panes 2a and 2b in combination. In this way, a condensation-tight construction is effected. Between the retaining strips 5, a trim strip 9 is finally arranged. The retaining strips 5 and the cover strip 9 are made of anodized aluminum, so that they visually in the background, since they cause only reflections.

The optics of the glass wall is thus determined by the flush-mounted in the narrow holding profiles 1 Mehrfachglasscheiben 2, as well as serving as spacers glass swords 3 as well as the retaining strips 5 and the trim strip 9 optically recede and responsible for the non-emergence of condensate hollow sections 6 through the Anodized retaining strips 5 are covered.

The FIGS. 4 to 6 show details of the built-in glass wall door, which extends in the embodiment only over part of the height of a multi-pane glass 2.

The door 13 is pivotally mounted in a frame 14, which consists of two vertical frame parts 14a and a horizontal frame part 14b. The profiles used for this purpose are - as the drawing shows - formed according to the holding profiles 1. They have accordingly fastened by screws 5a retaining strips 5, by means of which the single glass panes 2a and 2b are flush mounted to the frame parts 14a and 14b by means of a seal 4 made of transparent silicone. Covered by the retaining strips 5 hollow sections 6 are embedded in the frame parts 14a and 14b. The cavity of these hollow profiles 6 is connected via a gap 8 with the gap 7 between the single glass panes 2a and 2b in combination. The desiccant contained in the hollow sections 6 thus ensures the avoidance of any condensation. Finally, a trim strip 9 is arranged between the retaining strips 5 as in the holding profiles 1.

Similarly, according to the FIGS. 4 and 5 also executed the door 13, the sash 15 according to Fig. 1 by means of two hinges 16 is pivotally mounted on the frame 14. Furthermore, in Fig. 1 a door handle 17 and a door closer 18 can be seen.

The second embodiment shows using appropriate components, the formation of the glass wall with a fire-resistant glazing. For this purpose, a fire protection glass pane 2c is arranged on the holding profiles 1 and on the correspondingly formed profiles of the frame 14 or sash frame 15 of the door 13 centrally between the outer single glass panes 2a and 2b, in particular the FIGS. 9, 10 and 14 demonstrate.

This fire glass pane 2c is held by glass blades 3a and 3b at a distance from the single glass sheets 2a and 2b. The definition of these discs is again by a seal 4 made of transparent silicone. Between adjacent fire protection glass panes 2c and the glass vanes 3a and 3b is a seal 12 (FIG. Fig. 9 and 14 ), which the sealing and Fixing the fire glass panes 2c against each other and against the glass swords 3a and 3b causes and which in turn is made of transparent silicone.

The attachment of the fire protection glass pane 2c to the support profiles 1 and to the profiles of the frame 14 and door frame 15 of the door 13 is done by means of band-shaped glass retaining strips 10, preferably made of stainless steel, which are inserted in grooves 1a of the profiles. These glass retaining strips 10 extend at a distance from each other which is greater than the thickness of the fire protection glass pane 2c. By inserting a seal 11 made of elastic material, again preferably made of transparent silicone, the fire protection glass pane 2c is fixed on the glass retaining strips 10 on the profiles, in particular the holding profiles 1.

Die Ausgestaltung dieser Rahmen entspricht der der Halteprofile 1.The FIGS. 11 to 13 Show details of the determination of this fire glass pane 2c on the profiles of the frame 14 and sash 15. The design of this frame corresponds to that of the holding profiles. 1
