Definitions
- the invention relates to a flap container according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
- folding containers are widely used in commerce, since the container can be reduced by merely folding the side walls in the direction of the ground and nevertheless provides an adequate transport and receiving volume in the unfolded position of the side walls.
- Such folding containers have a container bottom, which usually has a rectangular plan and at the edges of the hinged side walls are articulated, such as by gimbal or integrally molded film hinges.
- a latching composite of the side walls is interconnected, wherein corresponding locking latch engage on a pair of oppositely disposed side walls behind corresponding latching hooks on the other pair of oppositely disposed side walls.
- the problem is often the unlocking of such folding container to transfer the folding container from its position of use with folded side walls in the Einklapp ein the side walls.
- the document DE 44 46 322 A1 discloses a box-shaped container with four inwardly hinged side walls. To lock the side walls locking hooks are provided, which can be brought into engagement with a knob.
- EP 281 422 shows a folding container whose walls are held by prestressed latching bolts.
- the object of the invention is to provide a folding container with hinged side walls, which ensures a very stable latching connection of the folded-up side walls and a simple unlocking and locking the side walls in their folded Position or in its folded position allows and is particularly suitable for large folding containers.
- the locking members are designed as rotary latch.
- each rotary latch is expediently designed as a circular segment-shaped part and arranged on two oppositely disposed side walls.
- Such a rotary latch also gives the layman immediately, as the operation of the locking and unlocking has to be done, namely by appropriate rotational movement of the rotary latch, which also conveys visually, for example, by a painted or otherwise arranged arrow on the rotary latch the user of the folding container can be.
- the rotary latch are each arranged on the narrow side walls, which are first folded for the collapse of the side walls in the direction of the ground, after which then the longitudinal side walls are folded onto the folded narrow side walls. It is expedient that the rotary latch are arranged in each case at the two upper edges of the narrow side walls, in particular at the two upper corner regions of the corresponding side walls.
- the rotary latch is expediently formed with a pivot pin, which has latching hooks and with which the rotary latch can be snapped into a corresponding socket in the side wall. In latching position, the rotary latch can then rotate about the axis of the pivot.

- the lock runs on trained on the rotary latch protruding locking tongues, which engage behind corresponding locking lugs of the corner walls arranged side walls, expediently the longitudinal side walls.
- a biasing spring which is pressed with opening the rotary latch against a stop and thus biased. If the rotary latch is then released again, then the latching tongue automatically moves out again or the rotary latch moves into its latching position.
- the opening of the side walls so only the rotary latch must be rotated manually, which is done in a simple manner by gripping and upward pivoting of a handle on the rotary latch, at the same time with the rotational movement and the side walls can be folded inward.
- the opening movement can also be done by lateral pivoting of the handle portion or pivoting down, iw at the same time then the side walls can be folded inward. If the rotary latch is then released, then the rotary latch moves due to the spring biasing force back to its original position, in which the locking tongues are extended to the outside. If the folding container to be transferred from its folded position into the position of use with folded side walls, then only the two longitudinal side walls must be opened and then the two narrow side walls are folded upwards. The locking tongues are then automatically pressed inwards when they run against the locking lugs, which is favored zweclanäßigerweise by suitable ramp surfaces, which then biases the spring.
- the locking takes place automatically by the rotary latch rotated as a result of the built-up spring biasing force and the locking tongues are extended and reach behind the locking lugs.
- suitable stop members are attached to the corner walls arranged on the side walls, so that a stable latching compound can be achieved without wobbling the hinged side walls.
- the invention is characterized by a very simple handling for unlocking and closing the side walls in the folded position and ensures a very stable latching compound without shaking the side walls.
- the operation ie the opening and closing of the folding container is carried out automatically by appropriate actuation of the user of the folding container, which engages the rotary latch, rotates and unlocks the thus unlocked side walls inwardly on the floor.
- the user of the folding container engages the rotary latch, rotates and unlocks the thus unlocked side walls inwardly on the floor.
- the rotary latch is generally designated by the reference numeral 1.
- the rotary latch 1 is in this case received in a first hinged side wall 2, which in the illustrated Aus colbrungsbeispiel shows the narrow side wall of a constructed from four hinged side walls container.
- the hinged side walls are articulated via suitable joints on the bottom of the container and can be stacked one above the other inwards.
- the opposing narrow side walls 2 are first folded inward on the container bottom, after which the two arranged over corner, also opposite each other second longitudinal side walls are folded over the folded to the bottom narrow side walls 2 inwards on the floor.
- the second side walls which are also referred to here with longitudinal side walls, are assigned the reference numeral 3.
- this is the pivot 5 provided with a continuous radial slot 8, so that the pivot pin 5 when inserting into the socket 7 can be compressed slightly and then due to the elastic Studclcstell concept widens again as soon as the locking hooks 6 are inserted through the socket 7 therethrough ,
- the rotary latch 1 is thus releasable, but firmly and stably locked to the first side wall 2, but nevertheless rotatably received therein.
- the rotary latch 1 is formed as a circular sector-shaped part, wherein the center or the center through the centrally arranged pivot 5 is formed.
- the rotary latch 1 has, for the purpose of actuation, a handle part 10 formed behind a handle recess 9 within a handle bar. Further, the rotary latch 1 is formed with a protruding bolt tongue 11 which engages in the locking position shown in Figure 1 behind a latching lug 12 of the adjacent corner wall 3 side (see Figure 5).
- both the protruding bolt tongue 11, as well as on the second side wall 3 inwardly projecting locking lug 12 each have a sloping Auffahrrampe or ramp surface 13 and 14, with respect to the slope are matched to each other.
- the locking takes place on the basis of two adjoining surfaces, namely the surface X on the side wall (FIG. 5) and the surface Y on the rotary bolt 1 or its bolt tongue (FIG. 2).
- the rotary latch 1 is biased by a in the illustrated embodiment of the rotary latch integrally formed or otherwise arranged biasing spring 15, here as a curved curved spring tongue is trained.
- This spring tongue 15 cooperates with a stop 16 on the first side wall 2.
- This stop 16 is formed in accordance with Figure 4 as projecting into the recess 4 U-shaped stop bar 16, which is advantageously in turn formed integrally with the side wall 2.
- the free end of the spring tongue 15 abuts against the stop 16.
- the two surfaces X and Y are adjacent to each other and the walls are held in an upright position.
- the surface of the bolt rotates away and the walls can be folded.
- the bolt jumps due to its described bias in its rest position.
- the rotational movement is automatically generated by the inclined surfaces 12, 14 and 11, 10.
- the rotational movement defines, so to speak, the position of a "surface", whereby a positive connection is formed.
- the handle bar 10 For unlocking the rotary latch from the position shown in Figure 1, the handle bar 10 is rotated in the direction of arrow 17 about the pivot 5, whereby the spring tongue 15 is tensioned against the stop 16. With this opening movement in the direction of arrow 17, the locking tongue 11 is moved out of the detent position behind the detent 12, so that the first side wall 2 can be folded inwards on the bottom of the container. If you let go of the handle bar 10, the rotary latch 1 moves due to the built-Federvorspannkraft against the arrow 17, ie in engagement position of the latching tongue 11, but this is harmless for the opening movement, because the side wall already worked in the direction of the ground, ie the bolt tongue 11 has already passed over the locking lug 12.
- an arcuate slot guide 18 is formed within the recess 4, in which engages a latch member 19 formed or arranged on the rotary latch 1. The ends of the slot guide 18 thus limit the rotary latch movement.
- the rotary latch is coupled to a locking member, not shown, which is intended to prevent an opening of the rotary latch and thus accidental collapse of the first side walls in the stacking position of multiple containers.
- the locking member is arranged by a at the top of the rotary latch at about 20, in particular integrally formed with the rotary latch and upwardly projecting locking pin, which then when the rotary latch in the direction of arrow 17 moves and thus the lock is opened from a corresponding opening on upper edge of the first side wall 2 extends upward, but is locked in the extension movement by the stack in the upper container or container bottom, so that the rotary latch 1 can not be rotated in the direction of arrow 17 in the stacking position and thus opened.
- the second side walls 3 are provided with stop members, against which the folded-up first side walls abut, that can not be pivoted further outwards.
- stop members 21 are formed immediately behind the locking lug 12 stop strips 21 .
- the stop bar has an opening 28, such as a slot, so that the Veniegelungslage can be seen from the outside here.
- the bolt tongue can have different colors for better recognition of the locking position.
- Further stop members 22 and 23 are formed at the upper edge of the side wall 3, which at the same time with groove-like recesses 24 and 25 are formed.
- the rotary latch 1 are suitably in one piece, in particular made of plastic and can be latched as a part in the complementary receiving the first side walls, which facilitates production, but also use.
- the advantage of the rotary latch is that in this case a very easy-to-use locking mechanism is ensured, which allows a secure locking and unlocking even larger folding container, especially in large containers of 60 x 80 cm and larger allows, with a handle and an operation, namely Gripping and turning the rotary latch on the handle bar 10 is guaranteed to open and at the same time folding the side walls in the direction of the ground.
- the latching takes place automatically with merely folding up the side walls, which is very important for the acceptance of these closure mechanisms and the folding container the customer. At the same time a great stability of the unfolding and locking position of the unfolded side walls is ensured.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a flap container according to the preamble of
Such folding containers are widely used in commerce, since the container can be reduced by merely folding the side walls in the direction of the ground and nevertheless provides an adequate transport and receiving volume in the unfolded position of the side walls. Such folding containers have a container bottom, which usually has a rectangular plan and at the edges of the hinged side walls are articulated, such as by gimbal or integrally molded film hinges. In the unfolded position of the side walls, a latching composite of the side walls is interconnected, wherein corresponding locking latch engage on a pair of oppositely disposed side walls behind corresponding latching hooks on the other pair of oppositely disposed side walls. However, the problem is often the unlocking of such folding container to transfer the folding container from its position of use with folded side walls in the Einklappstellung the side walls. Depending on the design of the folding container but also the unfolding of the side walls in the direction of the catch assembly to form the folding container is often cumbersome and laymen who are not entrusted with the appropriate locking mechanism, often vornehmbar difficult. In addition, some of the folding container in folding position give a very unsafe feeling, because no stable latching compound is guaranteed, but the side walls in Rasterserbund still rickety and not firmly held in the latching compound, and thus wiggle the handling of the unfolded folding container and also often inadvertently let the Einklappstellung convict, which is of course very inappropriate.
The document DE 44 46 322 A1 discloses a box-shaped container with four inwardly hinged side walls. To lock the side walls locking hooks are provided, which can be brought into engagement with a knob.
Die EP 281 422 zeigt einen Klappbehälter, dessen Wände durch vorgespannte Rastriegel gehalten werden.EP 281 422 shows a folding container whose walls are held by prestressed latching bolts.
The object of the invention is to provide a folding container with hinged side walls, which ensures a very stable latching connection of the folded-up side walls and a simple unlocking and locking the side walls in their folded Position or in its folded position allows and is particularly suitable for large folding containers.
This object is achieved by the features contained in the characterizing part of
According to the invention, the locking members are designed as rotary latch. Here, each rotary latch is expediently designed as a circular segment-shaped part and arranged on two oppositely disposed side walls. Such a rotary latch also gives the layman immediately, as the operation of the locking and unlocking has to be done, namely by appropriate rotational movement of the rotary latch, which also conveys visually, for example, by a painted or otherwise arranged arrow on the rotary latch the user of the folding container can be.
Preferably, the rotary latch are each arranged on the narrow side walls, which are first folded for the collapse of the side walls in the direction of the ground, after which then the longitudinal side walls are folded onto the folded narrow side walls. It is expedient that the rotary latch are arranged in each case at the two upper edges of the narrow side walls, in particular at the two upper corner regions of the corresponding side walls.
The rotation of the rotary latch via a pivot, which is also conveniently provided as a composite element for the storage or mounting of the rotary latch on the side wall.
For this purpose, the rotary latch is expediently formed with a pivot pin, which has latching hooks and with which the rotary latch can be snapped into a corresponding socket in the side wall. In latching position, the rotary latch can then rotate about the axis of the pivot. Of course, the pivot may also be provided or formed on the side wall and the socket on the rotary latch.
The lock runs on trained on the rotary latch protruding locking tongues, which engage behind corresponding locking lugs of the corner walls arranged side walls, expediently the longitudinal side walls. Appropriately, the opening of the rotary latch against a biasing spring, which is pressed with opening the rotary latch against a stop and thus biased. If the rotary latch is then released again, then the latching tongue automatically moves out again or the rotary latch moves into its latching position. For the opening of the side walls so only the rotary latch must be rotated manually, which is done in a simple manner by gripping and upward pivoting of a handle on the rotary latch, at the same time with the rotational movement and the side walls can be folded inward. In another arrangement or design of the locking device, the opening movement can also be done by lateral pivoting of the handle portion or pivoting down, iw at the same time then the side walls can be folded inward. Once the locking tongues have moved behind the locking lugs, the locking takes place automatically by the rotary latch rotated as a result of the built-up spring biasing force and the locking tongues are extended and reach behind the locking lugs. Conveniently, suitable stop members are attached to the corner walls arranged on the side walls, so that a stable latching compound can be achieved without wobbling the hinged side walls. The invention is characterized by a very simple handling for unlocking and closing the side walls in the folded position and ensures a very stable latching compound without shaking the side walls. The operation, ie the opening and closing of the folding container is carried out automatically by appropriate actuation of the user of the folding container, which engages the rotary latch, rotates and unlocks the thus unlocked side walls inwardly on the floor. For the Unfolding only the side walls are folded up and it automatically takes the locking of the side walls to a stable latching compound and are provided without manual rotary latch operation, ramps and the like.

In the illustrated embodiment, the rotary latch is generally designated by the
For receiving the
As can best be seen from Figures 2 and 3, the
If the container is opened again, so the side walls are locked, then the two narrow side walls are folded up, just before the unfolded position, the locking
To limit the rotary latch movement an arcuate slot guide 18 is formed within the
Conveniently, the rotary latch is coupled to a locking member, not shown, which is intended to prevent an opening of the rotary latch and thus accidental collapse of the first side walls in the stacking position of multiple containers. Conveniently, the locking member is arranged by a at the top of the rotary latch at about 20, in particular integrally formed with the rotary latch and upwardly projecting locking pin, which then when the rotary latch in the direction of
In order to ensure a stable locking position of the unfolded side walls, it is expedient that the
The
