Abstract

L'invention concerne des perfectionnements apportés à des procédés, des dispositifs, ainsi qu'à des profilés supports adaptés aux procédé et dispositifs, permettant d'appliquer en un minimum de temps et avec une faible dépense en outillage et en main d'oeuvre, un profilé support pour joints en caoutchouc sur des éléments de carrosserie automobile. Les procédés et les dispositifs doivent par ailleurs pouvoir être adaptés de telle façon qu'on puisse réagir à toutes modifications intervenant dans la géométrie du profil du joint et, en particulier, du profil des éléments de la carrosserie sans qu'il en résulte de longues période d'arrêt des chaînes de montage ; les profilés supports et les zones d'assemblage doivent être adaptés à tous les profils, y compris notamment les zones en coin de la carrosserie, et permettre l'application de zones étanches différentes et de forces de détachement élevées.
