Claims (17)

  1. A cooling device having several cooling compartments (1 to 12), each of which can be closed by a cover (1' to 12'), and having a door (30) covering the covers (1' to 12'),
    characterised in that associated with each cover is a device (13, 23, 33) which acts between the door (30) and the cover (1' to 12') upon the closing of the door (30) and generates a force which forces the cover (1' to 12') into the closed state.
  2. A cooling device according to Claim 1,
    characterised in that the device (13, 23, 33) comprise an energy storage device that generates the force.
  3. A cooling device according to Claim 2,
    characterised in that the energy storage device has the form of a spring, the one end of which is supported on the cover (1' to 12') and at the other end of which an actuating element (41) is disposed, against which the inner face of the door (30) is pressed when said door closes.
  4. A cooling device according to Claim 2,
    characterised in that the energy storage device is in the form of a spring, the one end of which is supported on the door (30) and at the other end of which an actuating element (41) is disposed, which is pressed against the cover (1' to 12') during the closing of the door (30).
  5. A cooling device according to Claim 3,
    characterised in that the spring (40) is a coil spring, which is disposed in mutually axially displaceable tubular parts (42, 43), the one tubular part being fixed to the cover (1' to 12') and the actuating element being fixed to the other tubular part (43).
  6. A cooling device according to Claim 4,
    characterised in that the spring (40) is a coil spring which is disposed in mutually axially displaceable tubular parts (42, 43), with the one tubular part being fixed to the door (1' to 12') and the actuating element being fixed to the other tubular part (43).
  7. A cooling device according to one of Claims 3 to 6,
    characterised in that the actuating element is in the form of a ball.
  8. A cooling device according to one of Claims 1 to 7,
    characterised in that the covers (1' to 12') are prestressed by a spring element towards the closed state.
  9. A cooling device according to one of Claims 1 to 8,
    characterised in that the door (30) can be kept in the closed position by a closing device.
  10. A cooling device according to one of Claims 1 to 9,
    characterised in that the housing (32) and/or the door (30) are made from an insulating material.
  11. A cooling device according to one of Claims 1 to 10, characterised in that the door (30) is made from an insulating glass material.
  12. A cooling device according to one of Claims 1 to 11, characterised in that a cooling unit is provided for cooling the space enclosed by the housing (32) and the door (30).
  13. A cooling device according to one of Claims 1 to 12, characterised in that the cooling compartments (1 to 12) are disposed in a housing (32) on which the door (30) is swivel-mounted around an axis (31).
  14. A cooling device according to Claim 13,
    characterised in that a sealing device (50) is provided, which is responsible for sealing the space enclosed by the door (30) and the housing (32) when the door (30) is in the closed position.
  15. A cooling device according to Claim 14,
    characterised in that the sealing device (50) is a magnetic seal.
  16. A cooling device according to one of Claims 1 to 15, characterised in that each cover (1' to 12') comprises a locking mechanism (35) by which it can be kept in the closed state.
  17. A cooling device according to Claim 16,
    characterised in that the locking mechanism (35) comprises a latching device which locks the cover (1' to 12') when it is closed and which can be operated electromagnetically to open the cover (1' to 12').
