Description

The invention relates to the arrangement of a cross-country, in particular skating binding and one adapted to it Shoe that engages on the front sole of the Binding insertable complementary engagement elements for Production of a joint-like connection, wherein the sole-side engaging elements relative to one front end of the sole offset to the rear transverse to the longitudinal direction of the sole and approximately parallel to the Sole tread extending bracket and the complementary binding-side engagement elements on the bracket - especially from behind - overlapping holding hooks comprise of a closed position in a Release position and vice versa is movable.

Such an arrangement is known from DE 43 43 485 C1. This known arrangement is characterized by a simple one and compact construction. In addition, guaranteed precise ski guidance and maximum power transmission also in so-called "skating". It is in the known Construction not only the arrangement of the hinge axis in the Bale area of the front shoe sole is essential, but also the arrangement of an elastic sole contact element in the area in front of the joint axis between the sole and the Ski cover area.

A very similar construction is in DE 44 28 154 A1 disclosed. In this well-known cross-country ski binding is the Cross-country ski boot also adapted to the binding and has engagement elements on its front sole, which in complementary engagement elements of the binding can be inserted, to thereby create an articulated connection. The sole-side engaging element has a transverse to Ski longitudinal direction and approximately parallel to the sole tread of the cross-country ski boot extending joint axis, while the complementary binding-side engagement elements one Articulating behind and with this one Hinge joint holding hook with a U-shaped Include bracket, which from a closed position in a Release position and vice versa is movable.

The joint-like connection between the joint axis and Retaining hook or assigned retaining bracket is such trained that the sole tread of the cross-country ski boot in the area of the bale on the top surface of the ski body is held. There is also a between the sole tread of the Cross-country ski boots and the top surface of the ski body acting, elastically deformable element (Flexor) for elastic support of the cross-country ski boot on the Cover surface of the ski body between the joint-like Connection and the front end of the binding arranged.

A disadvantage of these known arrangements is the lack of them Handling safety when getting on and off the from the bond.

WO-A-96/23 558 describes a combination of a ski binding, especially cross-country, touring or telemark binding, and described a matching shoe, the front End by a spring-loaded pretensioning element is held in the binding such that the heel of the shoe free for touring, cross-country skiing or similar use can be raised. The essence of this known Construction is that the clamping element on the Front sole of the shoe, especially between the ball area and attacks the rear end of the same. The clamping element consists of at least part of the front sole guided rope, the tensioning element on the Engages the underside of the shoe front sole. This Construction is thus with the genre of those claimed here Binding not comparable.

The present invention is based on the object Handling safety of the known arrangements improve. In particular, it should be ensured that the Use of the hooks even with changing and stronger ones Loads remain in its closed position.

This task is characterized by the characteristics of the Claim 1 solved. The fact that the retaining hook in Is closed, it is ensured that this also with changing and stronger loads in the The closed position remains. Contrary to the bias, the Retaining hooks are brought into its release position. There are particularly advantageous constructive designs for this described in claims 9 and 10, to the here is particularly pointed out. Accordingly, one preferred embodiment on the retaining hook a tension cable, which is preferably behind the heel of the shoe around it is guided around and on which a tensioning lever engages in such a way that by pushing the tension cable backwards is pulled with the corresponding lifting hook against the effect of this in the closed position preloading spring elements. This construction applies to a retaining hook that the sole integrated bracket from behind spreads here.

If the construction is designed so that Establishing a joint-like connection between the shoe and Binding of the holding hooks of the sole integrated bracket from the front overlaps here, is the tensioning cable engaging the retaining hook facing forward and swiveling with one in front of the shoe mounted clamping lever coupled such that when Depressing the tensioning lever pushes the tensioning cable forward is pulled with the corresponding lifting hook against the effect of this one elastic backwards prestressing element.

If the binding as a so-called "step-in" binding is executed, the retaining hook is activated by a when getting in into the binding through the sole-side bracket actable holding element in its release position held such that when the holding element is acted upon Holding hooks released for movement into the closed position becomes. For this purpose it is preferably on the top of the Holding element when getting into the binding with the sole-side bracket corresponding projection, z. B. Pin or the like. Arranged. This is when boarding the binding through the sole-side bracket first acted upon and pressed down. That’s what happens Holding element free from the retaining hook, so that this is conditional due to the elastic preload in the closed position can move.

The holding element is preferably an inside one Binding housing elastic and preloaded with the retaining hook corresponding projection. Preferably the holding element is an elastically biased upwards Spring leaf made of plastic or metal (spring steel).

In combination with, but also independent of The arrangement described above can be the front sole end Support shell can be assigned, over which the front Sole end supported on a flexor. Preferably that is Front sole end can be hooked onto the support shell. To this The front end of the support shell can be angled for this purpose have rearward extending projection which with a corresponding recess, in particular groove, on front sole end for the purpose of the mentioned hooking corresponds. So the shoe is both at the forefront the sole as well as further back, especially in Bale area connected to the binding, the Joint movement through the mentioned flexor between the Guaranteed ski deck area and the mentioned support shell is.

The support shell, like the binding housing, consists of weatherproof plastic. It is preferably a integral extension of the binding housing to the front. she is so thin-walled that the flexibility of the Flexors is not affected by this or only slightly.

Part of the associated shoe 16 is shown in FIG. 2. Accordingly, binding 15 and shoe 16 complement each other a corresponding arrangement, the Shoe on its front sole 12 in engagement elements Binding insertable complementary engagement elements for Has production of a joint-like connection. The sole-side engagement elements on the shoe include one offset to the rear relative to the front end of the sole arranged, especially in the bale area located, transversely to the longitudinal direction of the sole and about bracket 11 extending parallel to the sole tread have complementary binding-side engagement elements one of the mentioned bracket 11 (in the case shown here Embodiment) from behind overlapping retaining hook 6, which from a closed position corresponding to FIG. 2 in a release position corresponding to FIG. 3 and vice versa is movable. The holding hook 6 is by means of one with this coupled actuator 3, 4 against the effect one of these elastically pre-tensioning in the forward direction Spring element 5 from the closed position corresponding to FIG. 2 movable into the release position according to FIG. 3. In the Release position is the holding hook 6 by a Entry into the binding through the sole integrated bracket 11 actable holding element 8, 9 held such that when loading the holding element 8, 9 from above Holding hook 6 for movement into the closed position according to FIG. 2 is released. The holding element is in the present case an elastically biased spring leaf 9, on the Top of a pin-like projection 8 is arranged, the when getting into the bond with the sole integrated Bracket 11 corresponds. The pin 8 can with the spring leaf 9 be firmly connected or integrally formed. Alternatively it is also possible to separate the pin 8 from the spring leaf 9 to train. In this case, the pin 8 is within the upper cover of the binding housing 1 longitudinally displaceable stored such that it is at the top of the inside of the binding housing extending part of the spring leaf is present. To prevent the pin 8 from falling out of the housing 1 or to avoid the opening of the warehouse located there Provide pins 8 on the inside of the housing with a ring collar, whose outside diameter is larger than the inside diameter the bearing opening associated with the pin 8. While entering in the binding in which the retaining hook 6 in the withdrawn release position corresponding to FIG. 3 is located, the pin-like projection 8 by the sole integrated bracket 11 pressed down. In the front end moves accordingly spring leaf 9 clamped down in the binding housing and releases the retaining hook 6, so that this through the Spring elements 5 to the front in the closed position 2 is pressed. The spring elements 5 can two helical compression springs arranged side by side, the on the holding hook 6 on the one hand and on the binding housing 1 support on the other. To the retaining hook 6 from the 2 in the release position 3, grips the retaining hook 6 a tension cable 3 on both sides of the binding housing 1, which is coupled behind the heel with a tension lever 4 is. The clamping lever 4 is for this purpose at the rear end of the binding housing 1 is pivotally mounted, namely by one parallel to the ski deck and across to Longitudinal axis extending axis 17. As Fig. 3 in Comparison to Fig. 2 reveals, is by depressing of the tensioning lever 4, the tensioning cable 3 under appropriate Carrying the retaining hook 6 pulled back against the Effect of the retaining hook 6 in the forward direction preloading spring elements 5. The retaining hook 6 is so far pulled back until the spring leaf 9 up into a Position jumps according to Fig. 3. Then the Release lever 4 released, the spring elements 5 press the Hold hook 6 forward until it abuts the rear end of the spring leaf 9 arrives. In this position the Retaining hook 6 through the spring leaf 9 in the release position held.

Behind the retaining hook 6 there is a cutout 18 in the housing 1 kept free or omitted to the described back and forth Movement of the retaining hook 6 within the binding housing 1 to enable. For the ingress of dirt, snow or Ice in the binding housing 1 through the cutout mentioned Avoid 18 through is at the rear of the Holding hook 6 arranged a plate-like cover 7, which moves with the retaining hook 6 and the mentioned Cutout in each relative position of the holding hook 6 closes.

At the top of the binding housing 1 are two themselves parallel to the longitudinal direction of the ski and at a distance from each other extending guide ribs 19 formed with complementary guide grooves on the underside of the sole of the Shoe 16 correspond.

The bracket 11 is, as already mentioned, in the bale area integrated front sole 12, within a Sole recess, as this z. B. in the already mentioned mentioned DE 43 43 485 C1 is shown and described.

Through the retaining hook 6, the shoe is moved backwards and upwards and fixed to the side. The support forward is carried out by a front end of the sole Support shell 20, which is an integral extension of the Binding housing 1 is formed. Between the support shell 20 and the ski top surface is an elastically compliant Element, namely Flexor 10, arranged and effective. The the front end of the sole is supported by the one mentioned Support shell 20 on the flexor 10, the associated Swivel axis through the interaction of the sole integrated Bracket 11 defined with the binding-side retaining hook 6 is.

Im übrigen erfolgt die Abstützung des Schuhs über den Bügel 11 am Haltehaken 6.To prevent the shoe from sliding out of the binding To avoid, the front end of the support shell 20 is behind directed upwards and with an obliquely backwards downwards extending projection 14 provided with a corresponding recess, in particular groove 13, on the front Sole end corresponds. The groove 13 is in association with Projection 14 opened obliquely upwards at the front. In this way can the front end of the sole 12 on the projection 14 of the Hook in the support shell 20. The rest is supported the shoe via the bracket 11 on the retaining hook 6.

Getting started with the binding described is extremely easy. The user only needs the front end of the sole in the To move the support shell 20 forward, up to Attack. Then the mentioned hooking between the Projection 14 and complementary recess 13 made. At the same time it is ensured that the sole-integrated bracket 11 in position, d. H. in assignment to the retaining hook 6 is such that when lowering the Shoe on the binding housing 1 of the bracket 11 den pin-like projection 8 in the manner described above acted upon. The holding hook 6 is then released by the spring elements 5, pushed into a position in which he engages over the sole-integrated bracket 11. Then it is Shoe supported on all sides. Leaves at the same time the shoe, however, over the joint-like connection between bracket 11 on the one hand and retaining hook 6 on the other swivel relative to the ski deck area, whereby over the Support shell 20 and the Flexor 10 a constant contact between the shoe and the ski top surface is guaranteed. This contact exists in every swivel position of the shoe promotes the power transmission and ski control feeling considerably.

Instead of the flat band-like bracket 11, a pin-like joint axis can be provided. In corresponding The holding hook 6 is then also adapted.

The support shell 20 is an integral extension of the Binding housing 1 formed, and relatively thin-walled, so as not to increase the effect of the flexor 10 affect.

As can be seen from Figs. 1-3, are Guide ribs 19 in the effective area 21 of the holding hook 6 or in Receiving area of the sole-integrated bracket 11 interrupted. The corresponding section 24 is in Side view opened approximately trapezoidal upwards. The complementary guide grooves 23 on the underside of the sole of the shoe 16 belonging to the binding (see FIG. 2) in each case a filling 22 corresponding to the cutout 24 on; d. H. the fill 22 defines quasi in use a portion of the associated guide rib 19th

The trapezoidal contour of cutout 24 and filling 22 enables a defined entry into the binding under exact positioning of the bracket 11 to the retaining hook 6 it should be borne in mind that the support shell 20 is very thin-walled and is accordingly compliant. Exact positioning the bracket 11 is then not always guaranteed. This Problem is caused by the configuration of Guide rib 19 and guide groove 23 remedied.
