Ce dispositif comprend une forme en chape (16a) disposée sur la plaque transversale (15), côté intérieur de l'appareil, recevant, à rotation libre, un galet (17). Sous-jacent à ce galet est prévue une patte (18) présentant une fenêtre (18a) ou découpe intérieure permettant le passage et l'articulation d'un cliquet (19). Ce cliquet est articulé sur un axe (20) établi et positionné dans la partie inférieure de la chape. Ce cliquet est profilé dans une configuration sensiblement en "S" allongé avec une première extrémité (19a) susceptible de traverser la fenêtre (18a) établie sur la patte (18) précitée, et l'autre extrémité (19b) susceptible de déborder extérieurement de la plaque transversale (15) à travers une fenêtre (15c) complémentaire formée sur celle-ci. On comprend de ce fait que, lors du chargement du rouleau de réserve (R2), l'opérateur doit présenter l'extrémité libre (B1) du rouleau de réserve dans une position telle qu'elle se présente en regard du dispositif (16) de pinçage ainsi décrit. La bande (B1) de papier est ainsi maintenue fermement entre le cliquet basculant (19) et le galet (17) et ce pendant toute la phase de fermeture du couvercle (3) sur l'appareil. Ce couvercle agit en pression continue sur le dispositif (16) tant que ce dernier et la plaque transversale (15) correspondante et associée reste dans une position d'écartement par rapport au tambour (6) et l'élément presseur (10). Claims (9)
- Automatic or semi-automatic dispensing machine for wipe material, toilet paper, hand wipes, general-purpose and similar wipes which dispenses a pulled strip of paper in folded or unfolded form of the type comprising a housing (2) on which a cover (3) is hinge-mounted, said housing being designed with two supporting end shields (4-5) at right angles to the lower surface of the housing, a drum (6) being placed crosswise in the lower part of the housing between the support end shields (4-5) and including a built-in cutting device (7), rotation of the drum being obtained by the user pulling a strip of paper, a pressure component (10) being mounted and located above the drum and held between the end shields (4-5) of the housing, the lower part of the latter having a slit (11) through which the strip of paper can pass, the roll of material being secured between the upper end shields (12) and a receptacle (14) being provided in the lower rear part of the machine,
the machine being of the type comprising a loading device including first means associated with cover (3) in a position that is substantially opposite the point through which the strip of material is inserted and passes over the drum so that it can be cut and second additional means located relative to the housing of the machine, said second means being set by closing the cover and being capable of monitoring the end of unwinding of the first roll (R1) and controlling actuation of said first means located on the cover when the first roll is exhausted in order to load the strip of paper originating from the so-called "spare" roll (R2),
characterised in that the loading device comprises a device for pinching and retaining the loose end (B1) of the strip of the spare roll positioned relative to a transverse plate (15) in front of the drum over all or part of its length,
and in that the pinching device is actuated by closing the cover of the machine or by a mechanism located relative to the housing of the machine,
the pinching device being located substantially opposite the gap formed between the drum (6) and pressure component (10) in order to allow insertion of the strip of paper from the spare roll. - Machine as claimed in claim 1 characterised in that the pinching device comprises an eye-joint shape (16a) located on transverse plate (15) on the inside face of the machine, which accommodates a rotatably mounted roller (17),
and in that underneath this roller there is a tab (18) with a cut-out (18a) through which an "S" shaped swivelling pawl (19) can pass and be hinged,
and in that the pawl has a first end (19a) which passes through cut-out (18a) in the tab and a second end (19b) that protrudes externally beyond the plate so that it can be actuated by closing the cover in order to grip and pinch the end of the paper strip. - Machine as claimed in claim 2 characterised in that pawl (19) is loosely mounted on shaft (20) positioned in the lower part of the eye joint, said pawl not being controlled by any return means,
and in that the inside end of the pawl is designed with a gripping area (19c) which comes into contact with the roller when it swivels, thus ensuring that the loose strip of paper is pinched. - Machine as claimed in claims 1, 2 and 3 characterised in that the transverse support plate (15) of the pinching device has a wing (15f), the end of which is designed as a hook shape (15e), said hook part cooperating with one of the components of the mechanism for controlling and releasing the device for pinching the service roller when it is nearly finished up.
- Machine as claimed in any of claims 1, 2 and 4 characterised in that the mechanism for controlling and releasing the pinching device comprises a testing unit (20) located relative to a support part (21) forming a lever which is arranged parallel along end shield (4) of the machine, said lever being actuated by closing the cover and causing swinging of the testing unit so that it moves into a plane inside the machine, said testing unit pressing against the strip of paper originating from the service roll in the phase when a service roll and a spare roll are placed in the machine,
and in that the testing unit is associated with a sliding tab (29) capable of cooperating, during certain operating phases, with the hook part (15e) of transverse plate (15),
and in that a slide is controlled and articulated by the part forming a lever (21), the end of the slide being fastened to the transverse plate in order to ensure controlled swivelling of the latter by means of an elastic return means. - Machine as claimed in claim 5 characterised in that the front part of lever (21) is designed to form a hook (21a) and comes up against the inner profile (3a) of the cover, said lever being controlled by a return means fixed relative to the housing, the rear part of the lever being designed with means allowing articulated linkage to slide (26) joined to the transverse plate.
- Machine as claimed in claims 5 and 6 characterised in that testing unit (20) is articulated with respect to end shield (4) of the machine, said end shield having a cut-out (4g) which allows movement and hinging of the free arm (20b) of the testing unit in opposition to elastic return means (28), said testing unit (20) being designed with a finger (20d) which is positioned in and guided in tongue (29) which cooperates with transverse plate (15).
- Machine as claimed in claim 5 characterised in that testing unit (5) fulfils an additional function of detaching the paper strip from the spindle when the last piece of paper on the service roll is dispensed during the finishing-up phase.
- Machine as claimed in claim 1 characterised in that the housing of the machine has, in its bottom, a hinged flap allowing ejection of the finished spindle when the cover is opened.
